Was everyone actually WRONG about M. Night Shyamalan's OLD (2021)??

My issue with Shyamalan, other than ruining Avatar, is he tries to force a twist in every movie. It stopped being surprising several movies ago and has the unfortunate result of making the ending more predictable. Old is one of those movies that I liked most of it, Thomasin was great, but because of who the director was once things started happening it was obvious what was going to happen next all the way to the end.

I love this movie! Old is very good...not sure why people are so critical and nit picks Mr. Shyamalan's work.
This director sincerely loves making movies and just so he can experiment different and original concepts, he funds his own movies...mortgaging his house....so why not take risks....it's his money that's on line. I. give him credit for trying new ideas because if you don't take risks then you never know what going pass or fail...at least he doesn't regurgitate and remake same story over and over!
