John Ireland, a lookalike for the late Jesse James, decides to wear the dead man's rep and, with the help of a former James Gang member, begins posing as the fabled badman. Reed Hadley as Jesse's brother Frank, now a law-abiding citizen, sets out to put an end to their criminal activities, culminating in a showdown at a Minnesota bank.

An Excellent Cast!
Love John Ireland, he deserved far more leading roles, (See "Little Big Horn), and "Bushwackers")
Henry Hull, playing the old Mr Younger, was a famous Character Actor of stage and film, was married to Juliet Freemont, grandaughter of the famius John C Freemont, Civil War General and Explorer, "Freemont Street, downtown Las Vegas is named for him".
Ann Dvorak, playing the Younger Boy's sister was an exceptional actress, she was a really good singer, slee her with Randolph Scott in the movie "Abeline Town", also with Edgar Buchanan, a great ole Western.

This film features a fine score by Ferde Grofe, an esteemed American composer. He only wrote a few film scores. Another one from 1950 is Rocketship X-M. He is best known as the composer of The Grand Canyon Suite and Mississippi Suite.

i haven't watched it yet but if you want a really bad one check out i believe it's called "The Dalton Women (1950) now that one is painfully bad it's a painful sit you should watch that one drunk it may help the experience
