I love how you spent the whole video On just one cookie. This really helped to just focus on the ring. Thank you for sharing. You are SO TALENTED!!
I am just AMAZED at how beautiful you work while NOT using a projector!!
That is gorgeous what color did you use for ring. Looks caramel color and where did you get your gold dust and water brush
I love that you used some other flower besides the rose. This is beautiful and yes, unpredictable. Love it.
Thank you, Sharon! Unconventional is fun! I'm hoping to do something different with my next video on wedding dress cookies too.
Very pretty!

Thank you so much!
Very pretty! Great tutorial. The water pen is so cool. I need one of those.
Thanks for watching! And yeah, the watercolor pen is for sure one of my favorite tools!
Wow amazing!
Aw, thank you, Rebecca!
Your flower is absolutely stunning. I have the most difficult time making flowers. I’m not sure if my icing isn’t thick enough or if it’s my technique. I’m going to try again using your example as a guide
Thank you! Absolutely try again! Practice is the thing that makes the most difference. Also, try using the freshest royal icing possible (straight from the mixer) and make sure you have stiff peaks - that consistency will hold the most details. My royal icing recipe is listed in my description, in case it helps. Thanks for watching!!
how do you differentiate to make the detail consistency vs flood consistency? i checked your recipe but didn't see anything about that!
When I use a metallic highlighter powder, it tends to rub/smear inside the cookie bag. Dusting c.starch dulls the sheen. Suggestions? Thank you.😊
Your work is amazing.
You are so sweet! Thank you!
Where did you list the pen so I can buy? Beautiful work♥️
What brand and color did u use for under the gold please?
The flower is beautiful!! It’s made out of royal icing correct?
The gold
Does anyone have a good recipe for the cookie and icing? Some of the links are no longer active in the above.
Can you use a substitute for the alcohol? And where do I find the empty brush pen?
You could use water; however, it will dissolved the icing slightly, leaving the surface porous and somewhat dull compared to the alcohol. The link to the empty brush pen is my description just below the video.
The super mad gold you used says it is not edible??
Hi, Jackie. The TMP Super Gold is not technically FDA-approved; however, I (and many other people) have used it for years without any issues and it is the best gold that I have used. TMP did recently release a new FDA-approved gold (trulymadplastics.com/TMP-Edible-Metallic-Highlighter-100-FDA-Compliant-Ingredients-p366397954); I haven't had a chance to try it out so I can't recommend it yet.
The TMP Super Dusts are non-toxic and should be considered as decoration only. It's not edible according to the FDA
Hi, there. Yes, that is true; the TMP Super Gold is not technically FDA-approved; however, I have used it for years without any issues and it is the best gold that I have used.
