    Your flower is absolutely stunning. I have the most difficult time making flowers. I’m not sure if my icing isn’t thick enough or if it’s my technique. I’m going to try again using your example as a guide

    • @Queenpin
      @Queenpin  Před 3 lety +2

      Thank you! Absolutely try again! Practice is the thing that makes the most difference. Also, try using the freshest royal icing possible (straight from the mixer) and make sure you have stiff peaks - that consistency will hold the most details. My royal icing recipe is listed in my description, in case it helps. Thanks for watching!!

    how do you differentiate to make the detail consistency vs flood consistency? i checked your recipe but didn't see anything about that!

  • @SophonsCookieCreations

    When I use a metallic highlighter powder, it tends to rub/smear inside the cookie bag. Dusting c.starch dulls the sheen. Suggestions? Thank you.😊

    Can you use a substitute for the alcohol? And where do I find the empty brush pen?

    • @Queenpin
      @Queenpin  Před rokem +1

      You could use water; however, it will dissolved the icing slightly, leaving the surface porous and somewhat dull compared to the alcohol. The link to the empty brush pen is my description just below the video.

    The super mad gold you used says it is not edible??

    • @Queenpin
      @Queenpin  Před 2 lety

      Hi, Jackie. The TMP Super Gold is not technically FDA-approved; however, I (and many other people) have used it for years without any issues and it is the best gold that I have used. TMP did recently release a new FDA-approved gold (trulymadplastics.com/TMP-Edible-Metallic-Highlighter-100-FDA-Compliant-Ingredients-p366397954); I haven't had a chance to try it out so I can't recommend it yet.

  • @sparklemissl
    @sparklemissl Před 2 lety

    The TMP Super Dusts are non-toxic and should be considered as decoration only. It's not edible according to the FDA
