- I stumbled uplon this concert recently while curating the CSM110 playlist at Vaak. Discovering a "new" Semmangudi 60s concert is rather exciting. It is even more exciting when he sings lesser heard compositions like Manamu Leda. To add to this excitement, it is rendered with detailed manodharma!!
Enjoy the flow and sarvalagu that he brings out with apparent ease in Hamirkalyani.

Amazing!!!!
❤❤❤❤❤ My favorite Semmangudi Mama rocking as always with SahaVidwans this time in Hamir Kalyani!
Great singer awesome singing.
The Alapana is crisp, but the slow tempo swarams are the winner.
Manamu Leda is my favorite composition in hamir kalyani. Has a more Carnatic flavor than venkatashaila. Hoping to catch the full recording when you post the full concert on Vaak.
06:16 What is that Swaram in hamirkalyani by chowdiah ? @shreeraam Shankar
It is called Kalpana swaras which is a form of Manodharma (improvisation for a lack of a better word)
@@shreeraam_22 No. I was talking about that ri ga ma swaram of hamirkalyani. Is it possible in that ragam ?
