- Happy New Year!!!! Hope everyone had a fantastic holiday season. Today I decided to kick off the year with a new guinea pig care video, which has been highly requested. This is a video showing you how I clean the guinea pig C&C cages. I only do this big cage cleaning once a week, on Saturday's. During the rest of the week I just spot clean with the dust pan and brush. This video was requested by:

I'm 12 and in the process of moving to a bigger house my room is super small and I really have always wanted 2. Guinea pigs my dad says I will be able to get them once we move I can't wait oh and I will be getting an C&C cage

They are so adorable and since I just got another male (who now lives with Gus Gus) Every morning the Kitchen is full of hay, poop, carrots, and wee wee spots! That's why I now clean them every day! Messy Piggies :3

Oh you just answered my question lol. We are pretty limited on where we can buy fleece around here and I find it very rare to find patterned fleece at the fabric store :/

I never knew that you could clean the cage with vinegar and water! Thanks a lot; that will save me some money and let me clean the cage without the worry of chemicals effecting the piggies! What type of vinegar is it?

My guinea pig is very sweet but is very aggressive to other guinea pigs. I've tried all different breeds, ages, and sizes as well as a large herd and I've also tried different methods, some longer than others but it seems as if he's to be doomed to be forever alone. Do you have any tips on how to keep him entertained? I try to play with him as much as I can and give him enough toys and huts :)

I Use Pets At Home's Own Brand.. But Shes Only Started Sneezing The Last Week Or So :) I Got Her A Week Before Christmas I Think She Was About A Couple Of Weeks Old :) But Theyre Little Teni Weni Sneezes Like A We Cute Choo Lol... x

I buy fleece blankets from big lots so far I only have 2 blankets do I need more
Just make sure you have a thick layer that can absorb pee! If it's too thin then their pee can kinda "burn" their feet and make them have sores.

You should find that out before buying an animal, wait a sec
Pellets 1-2tbs a day, veggies 200g to every guinea pig a day (3 times a day, 200g all together) , C-vitamin 20mg a day. Piggies need ay 24/7, or they will die. toys: chews, tubes etc. Use fleece or normal bedding (carefresh, aspen) do not use pine ot cedar. Storebought cages are always too small, I would recommend to build an C&C cage (the one on the video). Guinea pigs need to live atleast in pairs, a human cant replace the other piggie. Remember to clean the cage weekly and spot clean in between and do weekly health checks. Taming could take several months, dont cuddle right away. Search for a list for good and bad veggies etc. Im not an professional, so please research more.
