Where to get C&C Cage Supplies

- This is a video that talks about C&C cage supplies and where you can get them in the United States. I also talk about alternate options to coroplast if you can't find any in your area. Here's the list of places where you can find the supplies:
Storage Cubes/Mesh Grids-Target, Walmart, Kmart, Sears
Coroplast/Currogated Plastic Sheets-email or call your local sign shops to see if they have any available
Cable Ties-Look for them in the "Electrical" section of your store. Walmart, Kmart, Target, Home Depot, and even some dollar stores carry them

I got a huge piece of coroplast at Home Depot. They cost $13 for a 36x72 piece of coroplast. I got two and it cost almost $30. You have to specifically ask for plastic cardboard because if you say coroplast, or corrugated plastic like I did, they will have no idea what you are talking about.

Great video! After we got our Guinea pig I kept hearing about C&C cages but didn't know what it was. When I finally saw a picture of one I was so mad because I have 3 sets of those storage cubes!!! I had no idea where to find the sheets though! I recently saw the pet store selling edge pieces of it for cages. Thanks again :)

You can get the grids on Amazon I searched C and C grids and a bunch of different varieties of grids and cubes came up
I lucked out and got a large sheet 36" X 72" for under $14 at Home Depot. I agree on the car thing. LOL I had to bend it to fit in my Elantra. I was too scared to have them cut it and not know for sure on the measurements. I guess I should have watch your video first. Great video! :)
Hi! Thanks for the video! FYI Home Depot does sell the large Coroplast sheets. The problem is that noone knows what it is even when you show them the picture. After showing the sakes person the picture they take me to the section that has coroplast to make signs which is too small. I found the large sheets of coroplast by accident one day when I went to the bathroom lol the big sheets of coroplast was in the back near the bathroom stored with the plexiglass sheets. Smh I hope this was helpful 😊
You don't HAVE to use the cubes. I just uses the coroplast for the cage. 8ft by4ft and 4mm thick. Make the walls 9 to 10 inches high. Super cheap if you have a local sign shop to purchase the coroplast from. Then you just cut, fold and tape up the cage with some pretty duct tape =)

I found the coroplasty at Home Depot here in San Antonio. Cant seem to find the grids though so may have to order them. Target didnt carry them said just online.

You can get storage grids on Amazon I got pack of 20 for $26 and found white ones are cheaper so I would recommend white ones

Ive heard the reason people buy from Guinea Pig Zone is because they measure, cut and have it scored for you so it's ready to assemble. I'm planning on using plexiglass for my guinea pigs cage. Around here it's much cheaper than what I've been quoted for coroplast, it's see through so I'll be able to see the piggies (my cage is up higher and I'm super short) and it's a hard plastic so I think it might hold up better so maybe an option for people who can't find or aren't wanting to use coroplast.

if you live in utah you can get the fleece bedding things from either Wal-Mart or joanns and I know cause I looked today

thanks your videos on hedgehogs helped a lot just got my kiki a few months ago didnt no about the hibernation info and looks like i did everything rite:) but would be nice to get a c&c cage too give her more space.one question though mines a baby snowflake hedgie and she sleeps most the time is that normal? shes is also not so friendly how do you make them not so scared? she hisses and curls in a ball instantly:s thanks

Uhmm I personally went to thehome depot just now and I found out that they sold coroplasts. theyre about 10-11$ plus tax for 2.5ft by 3ft which is about 7.5 square feet.

For two guinea pigs how big should the cage be? And I was really only wanting to start off with one guinea pig, but I've read that you have to have two. What do you think? I do not currently own a guinea pig at this time, what is your advice for a new owner?

How often do you clean out your cage?
When you have a C&C Cage, does it make noise when they walk around? Because the coroplast is directly on the grid so when they move around does it rattle?
You don't put grids on the bottom. You only put coronation on the bottom
+Adeline Belle Not always true, many put the grids under as a base to create a stable grid structure. And yes +Brett Medley, it can rattle a little but I put a towel under my coroplast to prevent that. c:

Hi there. So I just got my cute furry friend Annabelle about two months ago. I have been doing tons of research and watching videos but so far you are the one who gave me the best info. I have one question though that I could not find anyone who could answer yet... Why is a C and C cage better than a pets store cage like the one I have now, other than the cost? In a c&c cage, can you use bedding instead of fleece mats?
Absolutely! You just have to be sure to cover the sides with coroplast so that it doesn't fall out through the grids. Hope this helped!

If you are buy the product for the cage right now target as a 6 set for 22 which is the cheapest i have found here i live in the usa too at walmart its liek 26 for a set of 4 so target is a way better price and you get more

i don't get this at guinea pig zone .com a sheet of Coroplast is like 5$ but the already made base of coroplast is like 45$!!

I’m beyond late but give them lots of hides so they don’t feel the need to hide under the fleece

I really want to order from the C&C cage website, if only because I simply can't find coroplast near me. However, what I'm getting is a hedgehog and they don't seem to make any cages with a tall enough wall of coroplast >.<
EDIT: Attention all hedgehog owners! This may be the more expensive option, but it's what I went with. On guineapigcagesstore.com, a 2x3 cage is 57 dollars with 6 inch walls. However, for an added 8 dollars, they can make the walls 8 or 10 inches. Again, this is probably more expensive, but if you can't find the supplies for this near you, I think it's a great option! I haven't ordered mine yet, but I intend to.

What can you use instead of chloroplast?
Chloroplast or large cardboard for m dollar general? Cardboard cheaper and easyer to find
Cardboard is easier to find, however is not waterproof. If your animal pees on it, then you wil have to replace the whole thing, which is why I prefer chloroplast
