Trout is not native to Southern Illinois, so I must visit the local lakes or ponds they (state of Illinois) stock. They did a great job in stocking it with healthy trout and it’s so much fun to get out for a catch and cook. I can certainly fish for other spices of fish but its undeniable that the aggressive nature of trout makes it so enjoyable to catch. My Firebox stove and cook kit makes it so easy for a quick catch and cook. Hope you enjoy the video.
