I struggle with backsliding and I’m in a tough spot. My relationship with the Lord is not good. Could someone please pray for me? And in particular that my prayer life gets better and my prayers come from my heart?

I am praying for you. I am a chronic backslider and jokingly call myself Gods rebellious child. I want a closer relationship with Him so much
I've been lukewarm all my life 😢. I pray God will help me with all of this.

We Often get tempted into sin and not look to Jesus, we often think we can get through it by ourselves, with our own understanding. Romans, 6:23 says, “the wages of sin is death.” But if we have a true repented hearts God can provide a way out, so that we can be in the right relationships with him. That’s why we need to cling to Jesus. And allow him to redeem our story and our hearts. Adam and Eves story (Genesis 1:26-4:26) it really speaks to me and impacted me in my own relationship with God, I have dealt with being tempted into sin, and I’m share many of us have. But our God faith he is true, he’s mercy and just to forgive. I will never understand why Jesus loves me so much after all the wrong things I’ve done that we’re against him. Yet he still loves us. And I’m can’t even describe how thankful I am for his unconditional love. The enemies gonna attack, because he knows that we are growing closer to God…and I rebuke that devil. we all go through trials and pain, but we have each other. And most of all we have Jesus comforting us, and he is providing a way for us to have breakthrough.

He came to me while I was showering , I felt a warm feeling. I was in a depressive episode. He spoke to me saying , it’s going to be okay my child, your open wounds will turn into scars. I am always with you

Do you belong to a local assembly of Christians. That's a fancy way of saying church family lol. If yes, have you shared these issues with any senior Christians there? Possibly your own shepherd if you have one
The Lord made the body of Christ a BODY for this purpose , that we might uphold each other and strengthen ourselves. These are the issues that make us seek the fellowship of the brethren

Love the point on prayer - we have a direct communication line 24-7 with the God of the Universe. Prayer is so powerful. We should not forsake prayer and we should prioritise this in our life. We also grow closer to God also by talking to Him 🙏 Thank you ❤️
I was baptized a few years ago, when I was younger, I have been a Christian all my life and I thought I was ready to give my life to Christ. Maybe a couple years later, I was turned to sin. I continued for years and I want away because it is pulling me in the wrong direction. So this last year I’ve been working on my faith and I have become a lukewarm Christian. One moment, I’m close to God, and the next I’m questioning his existence or lacking faith. I have been praying to strengthen my relationship with him and I think this will really help. I started going to church a month ago, and most times I go by myself. When you step into the church, it’s the most welcoming community that you can feel it in your heart. The Lord loves you!!❤❤

Can you guys pray for me, my mind is like a ongoing war theres lies form the enemy and God trying to talk to me its so hard to hear him because the lies feel so loud constantly i am rebuking them in my head and its so hard. My relationship with God feels off, and I need help to be more obedient, but it's hard to hear him. Also, for my relationships, I haven't found the right christian community and its hard at school to find christian friends because most people aren't true christians. My mom she has breast cancer, and for my family, my eyes, i have really allergies in them and discoloration. May God bless all of you
Hi I just read this and thought that your situation at school is the same as mine. I will pray for your eyes that the lord heals them and you can see normally! I know that this is 3 months after you wrote this so I hope your mom is doing well but I will continue to pray for her. May god also bless you and help your faith grow stronger.

Our relationship with God is the primary relationship.
If we are in right relationship with God, then we will be in right relationship with all of life.

How can you tell what your doing is for god? Every week I make sure my grades are good and my golf game remains strong. Technically, I’m doing it for myself since I love golf and I want my future to be better. So I’m what ways, examples, would I be doing things for god? I wake up everyday with praying and reading the Bible. I attend church every week. (Also I’ve just started trying to get closer to god so I’m trying to learn how to). Hi Julia on 3:56 it's just so true and relatable for me my stronghold is because of some of my friends are not Christian and it
leave's me trapped. Though it's so hard to let go of my friends i don't like. I wish i already new it when i was younger like in third grade so that when i grow up i won't end up having alot of non-Christian friends and i will avoid it cuz i already know that shouldn't be friends with a non-Christian (have been rethinking my whole life) but I'm glad i don't worry because this is what it says in 2 Corinthians 6:14 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?

Thank you for sharing this video God can change a person in so many ways if you just ask him and follow his lead. I asked God to help me stop commiting sin that I had been doing a long time and I asked him to help me change I repented of my sins and asked him to wash me cleanse me and make me new . God has changed my life he has turned me around from going down the wrong path. To now following his lead I know I'm not perfect and I still have faults and problems but I believe the Holy Sprit is working on the inside of me to change me and make me into a better person. God is Amazing I want to continue to grow closer to God and develope a better relationship with God. In Jesus Name Amen Praise the Lord

What would you suggest to those that are disabled and unable to get out to attend a church. Many people take for granted that everyone has the ability to get out and go about whenever they choose, when in reality there are people severely limited by disabilities.

me and my partner have been having struggles and we are unequally yoked. i want to get closer to god but i struggle a lot getting started, idk how or where to start the bible, idk which prayers are effective, nothing seems to stay in my mind when he asks me what i’ve learned

question. is things like doing my makeup and hair for God or myself? how do you distinguish (spelled wrong lol) between doing things for God vs yourself? like i dont NEED my hair to be healthier for example but i would like it to be. but if i dont need it to be why take care of it? is making my teeth straighter for God or myself? Is buying new shoes for God or myself? i dont know where this line is
she explained it in the video just connect the dots, if it is something major enough that it stops you from connecting with god, then it’s best to leave it. if not, then it’s pretty much fine. of course there are gonna be things you do for yourself that are a completely normal part of life, but its about recognising whether it negatively impacts your relationship with god or not. and thats something you have to be honest with yourself about

I was raised in a very cult like çhurch and traumatized ultimately ran from God I'm now in my 40s and Í want to seek him but continue tó remember at 17 geing told " you are dead to God " áfter trying to take my life. Here are my Qs: Do christians struggle w mental health/ illness and take meds or is thos really just "nothaving enough faith" another thing i was told and Q2 : how do i begin reconnecting with God ( like your great suggestions) without getting all the thingß I was taught getting in the way,( i was working with a therapist who was christian and taught mee about grace things I never learned but she quit eith no notice . But i am the youngest participating person in the youth group and no one seems to be on fire for Jesus. I want to find people like that but even my so called christian friends are bathing in the flesh. And I feel so much empathy cause I know what my friends have been through and I don't want to stop being their friend and hurt them. Plus even when I bring the topic up sometimes it goes so wrong. Like no one in my school or neighborhood really understand. And it feels so awkward telling them. Especially with my fam. My brother is sining but I dont know how to tell him. (Im 10 turning 11 in June)

this is really helpful, but how do I make a routine for myself?
Heyy whenever you have free time set an alarm or a reminder to remind yourself to sync back in with God. Once you’re used to that constant habit then start freestyling more like oh i wanna spend time with God or oh i wanna hear some gospel. It doesn’t justtt have to be, for e.g every 6pm clock in with God as we know he’s available anyyyy time of the day to give your time to him. But I just recommend first setting an alarm for whenever you’re free to give that time to God it really helps in the long run. Also I recommend praying and asking God to guide you throughout the routine so you can be consistent, obedient etc etccc💞.
I've try these but I still feel like there's a piece of the puzzle missing
