Of course! If you are still dealing with discouragement then meditation would be very helpful for you. Meditating on God's word strengthens your mind so that when the enemy brings those thoughts of discouragement, your mind is strong enough to fight them. You confront the enemy's lies with God's truth.

Yes my flesh and spirit have been fighting a lot recently. Heavy in my word and meditating on it because I don’t want to return to my carnal ways
I have to share this testimony from when I was like 7/8 years old. I used to suck my thumb. My mom and grandma hated it and would tell my teacher to make me stop if she caught it. No matter what they did they couldn’t get me to stop. And I wanted to stop! I remember my mom told me I should pray for help to stop sucking my thumb. So one night I did. Then right after my prayer I put my thumb in my mouth and curled up to go to sleep. My mom said “you just asked God to help you stop sucking you thumb but you’re gonna have to put in the work to help
Yourself stop. You didn’t ask God to MAKE you stop.” Well my childlike mind took that to mean that I should change my prayer to “Jehovah please MAKE me stop sucking my thumb”. From that moment to this one I haven’t had so much as the desire to suck any finger. I will always remember that. God was so kind to little old silly me and He took that desire with me having done very little work for it. lol. Now as an adult I know He CAN MAKE us do these things toe stop doing things but these large life altering areas does NEED our work to improve but I just will never forget what He did for baby me. ❤

Yesterday I searched “how to develop self control” and added about 10 videos to my watch later, when I saw this one I almost didn’t add it, but I’m so thankful that I did. You gave a lot of wisdom on this subject, sister, thank you and thank the Lord Jesus for guiding my way to your video.

Well she reeeead me 😂 God bless you. I had the worst binge last night and cried to God cause I didn’t listen to Him. He sent me like 20 videos about the spirit of gluttony and I kept ignoring each one. Today I made a meal plan and sticking to it to avoid under or overeating
Wowww I have been getting signs to fast for 3 days and literally videos were popping up on my CZcams feed and here it is 7 days into the month and I still haven’t because I made all of these excuses in my mind as to why. I have been extremely depressed, stressed and worrying bc I am a single mother of 4 and don’t have any help. I know that when I become obedient and listen to God I will get out of this depression. This video was just confirmation for me to just begin.

I pray that you are able to fight through and understand that God will take you in your depression. It is his strength that helps you. I also pray that you are blessed with support and a village. Even if you say God please help me! I don’t feel I can do this. I was in deep depression raising an autistic toddler on my own, a thousand miles from my family. God turned that all around. But it took me calling out to him right in that weakness. I couldn’t possibly dig myself out. I was tired. Feeling like giving up. Trust God. Nothing is too hard for him. He loves you and sees you. He cares for his kids, your kids. Just trust that he cares and knows best for you ❤

Galatians 5:24 spoke to me so much that I had to stop the video. I realized that Jesus literally showed us how to kill our flesh daily. He showed us the violence we have to inflict on the flesh in order to ascend and walk by the spirit. He showed us it wont be easy but it will be worth it. This really blessed me. Thank u 🙏🏽

I'm a muslim but since We believe in Jesus this video was so helpfull (I need to do researches about what Islam says of the holy spirit and I guess that video is a sign to do so😅 warever I'm reading coran and Jesus is mentioned along with the holy spirit I'm like note to myself Search aboutthe holy spirit) also you saying that we ask God to Stop being lazy but we work from bed in literaly me😢Ipray god day and night to give me more energy and stop laziness than go work in mybed😅I'll be working on that this week. thankyou.

Praying for patience usually ends up with situations that require patience. That's where the frustration comes from.
True but we’re going to experience those moments regardless of whether we pray for them or not but when we pray we become sensitive and better equipped to respond well.
When I tell you God moves 🙏🏽 I got on here to find a video to stop procrastinating and as I'm wiping my screen off I clicked on this video. The fact you posted today and me and God just had that talk just let's me know I need to put that fire under my feet. This is so timely!! I was just thinking how I need to grow in the fruits of the Spirit and how I have an issue with gluttony. I will eat something and immediately want to eat something else. Crazy. But since I work out daily I think it’s not a big deal but it’s a problem. What a confirmation!

Praying for self control and then setting up flames around yourself. I was asking the lord for self control when I found out my boyfriend cheated on me. I stayed, and then began to record his conversations and track his movements. Knowing what I would find out, I was "setting flames" around myself. Then when I found what I was looking for, the outburst of anger and emotional immaturity came out. I knew I couldn't handle what I would find. Now I have a decision to make, stay and believe that he wants his family and will do better, or go.
Amen sista, we go through spiritual warfare daily between good and evil, what you feed the most will be your reality.

I definitely needed to see this I’ve been flirting with and kissing someone who is Muslim & I know I have to stray away from going further in that relationship since our beliefs don’t align however I end up giving in at times especially with our conversations this is confirmation that I should not continue to entertain it
From personal experience he’s going to become more controlling and possessive over time. He will slowly push for your conversion and god forbid you have kids he will demand they are raised Muslim and completely disregard your beliefs.
I know it’s difficult but please don’t do it, break it off and stop seeing him. I am suffering greatly now because of the many decisions I did that disobeyed God and I am surely paying for it. God bless x

Whew! God is speaking to me through you! I have struggled with a sugar addiction, just finished a fast and I’m so eager to be delivered from this addiction. I have not indulged in any sweets since my fast but I am scared of the temptation and falling back into this addiction. I have also prayed for self control and discipline in my life and your video gave me the answer to why I don’t have e these fruits yet and it’s b/c I do override the voice of the Holy Spirit and I need to spend way more time with God and meditate on his word.
