- I review my Seiko "DressKX" (SRPE53) on the Strapcode Super-J Louis jubilee bracelet and I give my full impressions on the watch. I believe this watch represents the best value in the watch industry. It's made by arguably the most well known and best watch manufacturer in the world. Seiko caters to all budgets making inexpensive watches like this one and high end watches like Gran Seiko.

I have SRPE 61 on Strapcode Jubilee for over a year now and it is so addictive i cant take it off !!!
This watch is quickly becoming my favorite Seiko now.
I put my SRPE53 on the strap code asteroid bracelet and haven’t worn any of my other watches since. It looks incredible and it’s so comfortable.

Amazing Jubilee, elevate the Seiko 5 even further. Worth the price! What a class!!
It’s really great. I find myself wearing it more than my older Seikos. I guess I like having a decent crown that isn’t practically reassessed into the case.
Strapcode bracelet looks killer. Hoping there is no logo on clasp?
I can do 39mm 40mm watches but wow this looks great in hand just not on my 8.5in wrist
Great video! I was able to pick up a used SRPE53 for $120 - hard to beat that in terms of value. Looks great on this strapcode jubilee after seeing your video, gonna need to order one of these! The Strapcode jubilee is ~$20 less than the Uncle Seiko one, so it’s a no brainer
And strapcode is better too since it has a solid endlink compared to uncle seiko

I just got the 53 and it looks fantastic. The only issue I found with it is the gap between the crown and the case seems too wide. All of the pictures and videos I've seen of the watch it appears that there is really no gap so I assume mine has a quality control issue. Anyone else have this issue?

How do you think this compares to your Tudor Black Bay 39? Clearly two different levels of watches and movements but are the look and feel similar?
It’s hard to argue against the seiko. Every time I wear it, especially with the new bracelet, I always marvel on how nice it looks. The new Tudor Black Bay 39 is definitely better watch objectively. It just feels and operates how you would expect a $4000 watch to work but the seiko is the value king. The black bay may cost over 10 times more but it’s not 10 times better. If price is not a concern, I would go with the Tudor.
Hi! ls it a bit noisy when you move your wrist? I can hear like a sublte rattle/zippery sound when the rotor spins. I want to know if its normal. Thanks!

The Uncle Straps jubilee is the better choice over Strapcode. Clasp is far more refined and it has female endlinks
But it's stamped no? Also i heard the uncle seiko has a hollow endlink

Debating between getting the president or jubilee bracelet.

Seiko makes higher end watches with better bracelets. I just appreciate how nice their lower end products are when paired with a quality bracelet.
With Seiko you get what you pay for 😊
Don’t waste your money on strap code. Buy uncle Seiko instead. They will send you defective bracelets and only give you 20$ for your troubles. They wont let you post any negative reviews on their website only 5 stars super sus company to deal with! Very manipulative tactics from this company. I’ve bought an angus jubilee for my
