The Rolex Daytona is accurate to - 15 to +25 seconds a DAY. The quartz Speedtimer is accurate to -15 +25 seconds a MONTH. Seiko produced an automatic chronograph in the 1960s - Rolex in the 1980s. The Speedtimer pays homage to Seiko’s earlier achievements - nothing to do with Rolex.

I think this is a great watch but Date just bezel overkill this for me.

Tudor is not the poor man's Rolex......Rolex is the insecure man's Tudor.

Also, I’ve got a Tudor BB GMT (Pepsi) as well as a Tudor Chronograph - would this bracelet (assuming I got the 41mm/22mm lug width) work with either one of those?

You stated from the beginning that you cannot afford the Rolex Hulk and you own the omega. This speaks volumes about the more desirable watch. People don't get on a waiting list to purchase Omega watches only Rolex has this distinction. Your review is obviously biased because you own the Omega watch. Both watches are great timepieces, but the Rolex is more eye-catching and iconic. Unfortunately, the Omega is pedestrian compared to the Hulk submariner.

With the TPD, I put mine on the minimum and waited to see what happend. They all stopped eventually so I then increased the time on each one until I got it right. I Have a Dukwin nine watch winder and so far am very happy with it.

If you take the perceived value of each watch out of the equation I’d choose omega. But once you add that back in then the hulk it is. But if it were me I’d sell the hulk then buy the omega and go on vacation with the left over.

1 for value on the rolex is a bit off. If you bought that thing at retail, you can sell it and buy multiple of those Seamasters with the profit before breaking even.

That hulk dial looks a little off to me. I would get it authenticated.

I recently got the white (enamel?) dial variant with the arabics similar to the blue one you almost bought, but with a smooth bezel instead of fluted. I’m liking it a lot, in my mind it is somewhat of a blend between Explorer, Explorer II and Alpinist.
