I fondly remembered Turn 8 catching so many world class drivers out. Jacques Villeneuve, Jenson Button, Ralf Schumacher, Takuma Sato, even 4 time world champion Sebastian Vettel and 7 time world champion Michael Schumacher. That corner became a legendary one for all those caught out. That lap from Kimi, he was hanging on in that third part for dear life but crucially kept his foot hard on the throttle. Very brave, and pole position was his reward. If only the Mercedes engine was more reliable.
Turn 8 has gotta be my favourite corner of any track.
I never get tired of looking at footage of Kimi driving that 2005 McLaren.
Still the best driver of 21st century imo
Also love how little steering lock he uses here. Really nice driving

I hate the fact Kimi doesn't win a championship with Mc Laren.
2003 and 2005 should have been his years.
Could you imagine 2000s Kimi today? He would crush these wannabes.
It's just a hobby for me. i don't have to do it, if don't want to.
The 420 is arguably the prettiest car ever. At least top 3 for sure!!!
when you believe so much with the car.
Lol, the random Toshiki Kadomatsu ending
This footage is the Oskar moovie titled "kicked down"
2005.. was a good year for me and this season with V10 at its finest contributed to give me good memories of this year. 🤎
The best driver-team combo to not win a championship together. It will hurt me until I die.
