Always nice seeing old iron still getting the job done.
Hi Scruffy. The Series I was a neat find.
@@bigtractorpower always here just don't talk as much lol.
Hello Scuffy. Hope your doing well. Haven’t seen you in the comments over at warrens channel
@@robbybachmann332 still watching Warren just like always watching just not commenting as much.
Still doing good and staying out of trouble and that is my story and I am sticking to it lol.
How are you doing, I hope all is well with you.
Well, we just keep on farming. Lots of challenges with the high costs of fuel, fertilizer, seed and feed costs.
That old tractor is purring very well . Love it !! No computers.
👍👍
Love to see Older Tractors of any brand in your videos. Takes you back 30 or 40 yrs or more,
These are my favorite tractors to find. The 1970’s was a great time for horse power advancement.
That planting rig might all be paid for.
Nice looking classic tractor and planter
This was a nice classic find.
Nice to see someone still using markers old school😎
😁👍👍
Nice setup !!! Glad to see you filming in our area of Wisconsin again !!!👍👍👍👍👍👍
Older but quality equipment there........STILL getting it done!!😊👍🏻
👍👍
Classic Steiger tractors are my favorite 4 wheel articulated tractors.
Mine too 👍👍
Also fitted with the optional clear-view hood.
In mid restoration process. It has a hood in the paint shop.
I loved the mic’s tractor sounds when getting the drone shots. Amazing video of a quality tractor!
The Super Wildcat was great to feature. They are hard to find today.
The old iron gets it done👍😉 it's great to see classic machines still going strong💪😁
Great looking equipment. I would’ve liked to see more of that gravity wagon seed tender in action.
That's a cool setup!
Pretty cool seeing 50 year old 4wd planting 👍👍.
Love those Steiger tractors
I find it interesting that the Steiger articulated tractors predate the Matbro design by 5 years yet Matbro managed to license the design to Cat, IH and Allis- Chalmers, supposedly for $1m - must have been for an improvement of the design. Matbro now belong to Terex.
Steiger built 4wds for Allis-Chalmers, International, CO-OP and Ford. International owned 20% of Steiger. You can see a video on the different brands I made @ czcams.com/video/5CeVHY0YVHA/video.html
Looks to be around Fon Du Lac area. I like to see the old classics doing the work. Just think a couple brothers building these things in a barn .
It’s a great story of engineering and business.
Great to see another Deutz, but also what a great collection of classics!
It was neat to see the Deutz Allis working with the Steiger.
I love the old iron. Thanks Jason!
It’s always neat finding tractors like this one. Thank you for watching.
What a beautiful old tractor , greating from Germany
WOOOOO FINALLY
Here it is. Neat planting tractor.
Sounds sweet!
V8 power. 👍👍
i see that steiger green i click like, i love those machines
😁👍👍👍
Nothing wrong with old school. To me using GPS is like using a CNC...doesn't take much skill. All the thinking has been done for you.
This is definitely old school cool.
Always thought the twin pipes out front was an absolute beast look!
They sure do have a solid look.
Great vídeo Jason.
Thank you for watching.
Steigers are cool 😎
That Deutz-Allis is nice sight too (and rare?)
I have seen only one Steiger in here Finland 😄, it was Cougar ST250.
Deutz Allis tractors are not too rare. The Series I Steigers are pretty hard to find these days.
Hello! Lettuce green oldie Steiger still performing its task!
Series I Steigers have proven to be the hardest to locate if all the generations.
@@bigtractorpower 👌
When the Steiger was new, it was the big tillage tractor. Not that same size is planter tractor!
Yes and no. The Wildcat and Super Wildcat were built for tillage and planting. The first STEIGER built was 238 hp in 1957. In 1959 a 105 hp model was built to puller seeders. From the start STEIGER built big and small models to cover tillage and seeding. The Wildcat was also marketed to run 12 row row crop cultivators in corn and soybeans.
Nice one 👍 👌
This was a nice find as series I tractors are on the rare side.
👍
Old equipment with maintenance runs forever....no waiting on the John Deere service guy and rain is coming in three days.
Very true. The biggest challenge is finding parts. With good thing with Steiger is that they use allot of common truck parts.
Good video.
This was a good classic find.
Show some cotton pickers and this is Tim Wallace from Tuscumbia Alabama and I enjoy watching ur videos
I have a few cotton harvest videos. I hope to get a chance to film more. I posted a CPX620 last year czcams.com/video/eXrr_VfpToM/video.html
I'd be very interested in hearing how the Steiger bros came up with those particular colors for their machines.
My understanding is they used Euclid green because it was a paint available through a local mining/construction contact.
@@bigtractorpower Interesting.
@@bigtractorpower something like that, and because it stood out so well
I know were there is one of them sitting next to a turbo tiger one and a 2200. I just need to convince my grandpa I need them.
Very cool. Nice Steigers. I own a Turbo Tiger I. There were only 97 of those built.
Whereabouts?
@@bigtractorpower I new they built few of them. My great grandpa bought all three new.
@@nellsonstout7001 My grandpas house. Where they will be until they are at my house.
Is this tractor still available for sale
Is it even for sale to begin with?
The Super Wildcat went out of production in 1974. Series I Steigers are fairly hard to find today. I have seen two 1975 Super Wildcat II models in suctions this spring.
