Spurs have better depth and a better manager. I am not a Spurs fan but at the moment I think they are better.

Better depth? Their squad is pretty average bar a few excellent players. Hojbjerg, Dier, Davies, Sessegnon, Doherty, Emerson, Richarlison, Lloris, Spence etc wouldnât get into the first 11 of any other top 6 club. Theyâre carried by Kane and Son.

Weâre still a few players short. We must sign a dm and winger in Jan then we should get top 4. Hopefully we donât get ruined by injuries, a lack of experience, and naivety at times like it did last season. Spurs may finish higher, they have a lethal attack and they donât really lose games unfortunately.

I would have been ecstatic if Arsenal had played very defensively at Old Trafford and come away with a hard fought 1-0 win. To compete at the top Arsenal need to learn how to scrape a 1-0 win away in the big games. Itâs great playing great football and winning but to stay near the top every team has to know how to scrape a win away from home. A few George Graham 1-0 wins and I would be extremely happy!

I'm lifelong big Arsenal supporter and i can say with high degree of confidence that Spurs have better manager atm whos great at league seasons etc undesputed ,but Spurs fans are mad if they're thinking hes winning them FA cup or CL or some other cup or the league this season.Hes not a manager that does well in cups with better teams better squads hes just a guy that grinds results very well.Hes gonna turn loss into a draw, but wont go for the win and play it safe and thats why they wont win anything under him and to be fair i dont see them getting anyone close to his quality

People constantly go on about Conte getting Spurs 4th but my view it was Son and Kane that got them.4th and they are the reason Spurs has finished above Arsenal 4 6 years, Conte wasn't around then was he? Also Spurs top two scored 40 goals and our top two only scored 21 and one if them was mainly a sub so if so Spurs finishing above us by only one point with all those goals isn't that great if you ask me?! We fell from 4th to 5th because of key inuries and at the end all our defenders were injured and a couple of them had to play against Spurs and Newcastle while being injured and that was our two centre backs. So once again I ask what did Conte do that was so great?

I don't know where Arsenal will finish this season, but I am 80% certain it will finish above Spurs, because we will only focus on top 4 and EL next year (this year we play 2nd team in group stages) while Spurs have to concentrate on all 4 competitions, they want to win something. It's hard ro chase everything. Notwithstanding Arsenal is a far better team than last season with Jesus, Saliba and Zinchenko while Spurs is the same, baring depth. Depth doesn't really make you play better as our signings do, depth just helps you not play worse if you have injuries. That will not be enough to match Arsenal this season, we'll be 8-12 points clear of Spurs by the end. Chelsea, United and Pool are wild cards at the moment, I can only say how we fare to Spurs, that's all. We fare well enough.
You say that now. But remember this 8th game. 30 more games to go. If you find yourself within 6 pts or less of 1st in mid- April your expectations change. Nothing wrong with it. This is what happens during every season based on what happens to your team and what happens to other teams around you in table. Obviously going for title means you finish above Spurs, Iâm just saying that except for reverse fixture you may not care about Spurs then.

I said that since summer, I am baffled though how these pundits, and these bloggers, and these youtube reactors couldn't notice such an blatantly obvious fact when they calculated who might contend and who not. It was fairly obvious for months now that Arsenal has a bigger chance to contend than Spurs, but for some reason they saw that in reverse. Depth doesn't make you better, just more consistant during injuries, which they didn't have last year either, so obviously they are not much stronger. We have a clear stronger 1st eleven and we had key injuries last half of the season, otherwise 4th would've been ours easy.

Arsenal were on rise last year with a great young core of a team that would only improve each season. Then the transfer window: I hate the whole â who won window Bullshitâ, but City agreed with Haaland in April meaning 1-2 of frontline players were leaving. But it was all the fuss over Spurs making moves so early that got more attention then should have (Still canât wait until Bissouma really begins playing), but then Moves by Arsenal & Chelsea looked to be reacting to Spurs moves, or I should say thatâs how story was told through media/CZcamsrs. What no one focused on, and I was surprised with this, Arsenal signed/bought players for exactly the areas they needed them. Anyone not able to see that can look at 7-0-1 start!
I could go on, but you seem to know all this already. Will you win title , as you said â Nothing is Certain â !!! But until City clinches title, based on 1st 8 games, Arsenal are in 1st and until/unless they fall to 2nd, appear to be the best challenger to City this year.
I wish both Spurs & Arsenalâs game with City (originally in 2 weeks) werenât PPD and we got to see how they matched up against each other. But will just make PL even more interesting & hopefully suspenseful after World Cup in 2023 , or last week of 2022 starting on Boxing Day!!
