@@hfn3778I wasn't being negative it just blew my mind as I didn't like the way we played, with Partey as rb, my suggestion is that he knew Partey could cut lines of play.
And was inverting into the midfield and we were playing a back three, when Partey did this but why I didn't like it.
Was because Partey doesn't have the legs to go up and down the flanks no chemistry, with wing play with Saka as he is not a rb.
And he left us light in rb position and also added pressure as the fluidity wasn't there as, our players were adjusting to a new system.
Back to a back for with inverting and lb and rb just playing normal bang we are back to the same Arsenal.

Partey was missing the whole season, Jesus missed a big part of the season, Tomi missed big games
Timber missed the whole season
We missed Saka against city at home and he played with an injury during the away game and ended up leaving early

Exactly people moaning that arsenal played the same team all year....yeah we kind of had to, partey out 6 months, timber all season. Tomi, zinchenko, jesus have all spent a couple of months out, martinelli a month out.....then on the other hand you see de bruyne and rodri moaning about being fatigued. Their minutes are nowhere near salibas, gabriel, saka, odegaard, haverts and white. So surely arsenal are at a disadvantage having so many players that haven't had a rest all season.

People easily forget the injury crises Arsenal have had to deal with simply because of where they are in the league. To be without you top 3 players all season (Jesus, Partey, Timber) and have more injuries with the team you're trying ro manage (Tomiyasu, Zinchenko, Martinelli) to the point that Arteta now has to play a CD at LB. Thats serious enough.
