I lived there in 85-88. My Dad was stationed in Frankfurt. I loved living there. Sadly the school and military apartments we lived in are all gone.
I loved the little shops and the fountain in Butzbach

Stationed there from 1969 to 1971, Schloss Caserne is almost unrecognizable.Looks like Companies A,B,and C barracks for 16th Signal Battalion have been torn down. Wonderful memories.

I lived there when my dad was in the service. I was a little girl. I remember these brick roads. Thanks for the nostalgia experience

You stopped the video twice right before you turned the Korner from kaserne Strasser to schloss Strasser and again when you were walking back on the kaserne Strasser. This should have been of importance because of the wall and building. I lived in that last right house and it was the base limit when the Americans were stationed there. I used to look out the back window from my bedroom on the third floor and see them blowing there horn at the beginning and end of each day. They made a song sound. I just don't remember the name of it. Sad. There was also a wall.behind me. I have so many stories. Our first home was torn down. It was on the of the mainstream and where you started the video if you had turned around you would see the large train station ad if you'd turn the camera more to the left there is a hotel. Our house was between those two.
