Nuclear is like half the cost/mw than wind..... Matt's math is architect level
The upkeep alone makes Nuclear 3 times more efficient than wind and that's based on the MAX wind production, and that's not even counting the upkeep required at the transformer station. Oh well, Matt will be Matt.

Not to mention the nuclear plant is way cheaper per MW per month so the margin gets much wider over time. And for the first month it's actually exactly equal.

Matt I believe you need an account's area in your city, because listening to you argue for wind turbines just hurt my head, you said it costs 22.5k per MW for the nuclear plant for year one, then 41k for a wind turbine the first year then declared 41k was "way cheaper"

I've been doing my own city skylines 2 playthrough, and my city is currently level 12 when I discovered a trick to make a lot more money. Drop electrity and water tax so you get a +5 happieness from each, the little money you make from the tax is nothing compared to the money people spend when they're more happy. I went from barley making money to a +3 arrow. I left my city running over night, and i went from 1-ish mil to 22mil (would've been more but new special building paused my game). Seriously, give it a try, and money will be flowing. You can also individualize what specific groups get taxed if you expand each section.

Doing a job right now where the architect thought we could curve our sheet vinyl and put a ton of pointless curves in the blueprint. They continue throughout the rooms and hallways... that have opaque walls so nobody will ever be able to tell unless they look at the blueprint

you could made some specialized industries and raise the tax to 15% for them ( the raw materials only ) , i did that on my city and now i'm getting money like hundreds of millions per hour, and sometimes it bugged like the starts of each month then i getting minus income,but as time goes i got back to surplus income like before

The price to build the wind turbines for them to make the exact amount of the nuclear power plant is around 3M, that’s 2 Million cheaper. BUT. The upkeep is over the double, 2.2M

You should make a city called: Architects are the best, the city is built for architects to live in and enjoy, and the name is to lure them in to the city as they think it is a good place to live. Now when you get to a good population size you should cut it off from the rest of the world and destroy the city or something like that.

Oh does this game have water phisics now? I sort of quit because I could not figure out how to turn imported sewage into exported power taking money from both ends of the process. The game is pretty opaque on how to import and export anything but power
