Have you thought about making a complete Wallhack IEM roundup video? Currently there are a lot of options listed in your tier list but no indicator what the price difference really gets you in terms of performance/comfort.
Damn, the Aful 8 is looking good. Can't wait for the review, as I have a Kiwi Ears Orchestra Lite rn, but it has been buzzing on me... If this gets to beat the Kiwi with comparable sound profile, that's a buy for me!
If you're interested, look into the symphonium helios(pretty sure I spelt some of that wrong lol). great iem and served me well so far, the xenns top is for sure going to be my next purchase.
Picked up a pair of Orchestra Lites after using the Quartet for a few months. Really love Kiwi Ears IEMs right now, hope you stumble across the best mid range all-rounder. I still prefer my Quartet for music.
Waiting for the final reviews of the Sonus & Performer 8 🔥
Still waiting for the next best budget iems to upgrade my ZEROs OG, guess it won't be the ZARs haha, would be nice to have some reviews on budget AMP/DAC also as I'm plugged into my realtek soundcard.
Nice thing that you got the aful performer 8. Love them
Hey Fresh, I wanted to thank you for steering me clear of getting the Senn IE 200/300s to replace my wired Bose earbuds after they croaked on me. I ended up ordering the Yanyin Canon II and I am super excited to try them out as my first IEMs for gaming. Was very tempted on the Xenns Top, but had to talk myself out of it as it didn’t seem to be substantive enough of an upgrade over the Canon for the price point. Very excited!
Great to hear! Enjoy!
@@FreshReviewsYT Mine just arrived a day earlier than expected, and I was afraid the finishing on the Canon 2 wasn't going to match the Xenns Top, boy was I wrong. I was absolutely floored with how these look in person. I didn't think getting the full over the ear experience for music was possible with just earbuds, but they have impressed me for music listening. I will need to run these through their paces with my gaming arsenal. Will take some time adjusting, but overall very impressed.
Your reviews have been a tremendous help in my quest for the "ideal" iem. Are you going to review the Penon FAN 2's? I've read that they're remarkable for under $300, especially in imaging.
I’ll check them out
Do you have any videos (or thoughts) on comparing IEMs with headphones for gaming purposes? Pros and cons of each. Circumstances that might drive a decision for one vs another?
Thanks for the review!
I have the Burson as well. I can’t wait for the upgraded silent pro modules 2 to be released. SP2 will be a game changer for the your use case as it lowers the noise floor even further. Amazing first reviews from people with early review copies. Maybe Burson would kindly donate some for review on your channel. Would be very curious to hear your take.
They actually did! And they sound amazing
Loved the round up!!!
Thanks to your vids I tried out both the TruthEar Hexa’s and the Simgot em6l’s only to end up with ThieAudio Oracle MKII. Couldn’t be happier with the final result!
Might buy a mini dac/amp for em though.
Let’s gooooo! You got the IEM bug! Expensive but fun!!!
LETS GO another Freshy banger baby.
Maybe you could make a google sheet with the best ones by price range, I think it would be a little more organized than having the tier list in the description
Working in it for sure
Honestly, budget people are probably using the Apple Dongle as their DAC/AMP 😂 I know I am.
So you are missing a ton of depth, details and just quality of sound.
@@c.sec73pure placebo
@@c.sec73yes that's what happens when you are on a budget
Just use Tempotec Sonata II
It is insanely good for the price! Extremely good dongles are about 50dollars now. So for a budget focused buyer that want 99% of the sound from more expensive stuff and dont need a volume "knob", there is so much good stuff today!
Well that closes the coffin on all the reviewers raving about the zar lol. Thanks for checking it out for us so we didnt land in that pitfall
the best is blessed, and the best is fresh!!!!
I love ur reviews and ive bought alot of things after u reviewed them! :) Long time i saw a headphone rewiev now, maybe u can compair best wireless headphone vs headphone (gaming ofc) Ive seen alot of hype on audeze maxwell and turtle beach stealth pro, have u tried out anyone? :) Keep up the good work man!
great video as always but it would be nice if u could mention the price of the item ur talking about in the video ❤
Could you do a review of the g820 mini? It's supposedly a lighter version of the g703 with a 3395 and I was really sceptical about the sensor performance in some of the Chinese mice. Thanks :D
i hope you can review the cvj syyo soon, they are saying that it is a gaming iem
Was going to watch my weekly anime but this popped up so guess which one has to wait :D
Haha that’s amazing
Can u do a review of the Shure SE846? I see alot of pro gamers use them for comp
When you play Apex and tac shooters do you prefer IEMs over headphones nowadays? Would be fun to know why and which one you prefer over the other :)
He's said it in his past videos that he prefers IEMs over headphones. But there was one pair of headphones that he really liked, it was one among one of his latest videos that isn't the Moondrop Joker.
Can you do Koss KSC75 please? People praise it for its gaming, Crinacle consider them as number 1 for budget gamers so if would be interesting if you test them as well
how about something truly budget like the sound blaster g3
i see the xenns up box in the back, will those be getting a review sometime in the future?
Good eyes. Will also review them asap
awesome! tanchjim one too if you can! curious to see if DSP's can compete
Have you tried Final Audio IEMs by any chance?
I’m liking the zeus sound more, I think my ears just had to “learn” the sound a little more.
Yea it takes a hot second to get adjusted. Especially when swapping from something like an IEM to a headphone and vice versa
I’m going to be picking up the kiwi orchestra lights, any suggestion on what amp/dac would be best? I’m thinking of the smsl c200.
The smsl is great or the topping dx3 pro + if you want a bit more neutrality as opposed to warmth
@@FreshReviewsYT thanks a lot
Bought the EM6L from your recommendation and I love them. Just wish I knew alternative ear tips to buy. The ones that come in the box fall out over time :(
Spinfit W1
@@HeroArcadeX facts bought other eartips but always go back to them
@@LateBandwagon yep me too
The AZLA Xelastec is insanely "grippy" and is never going to fall out, it is also more vocal focused. The spinfit W1 is a little less grippy but gives a little more treble that some like and some dont. The dunu S&s tips are the most popular for the em6l it seems, it gives very good soundstage and imaging without affecting the treble and bass. The fit on the s&s is a bit hit and miss for some thoo. Tangzu also have some "grippy" eartips.
@@fakedcastle5950 thanks bro, which IEMS do you use personally? I got the EM6L for competitive gaming and it works great on tarkov and Valorant, CSGO and Destiny 2.
Simgot giveaway window is ending soon yall 👀
Looking at your PG27AQN I’m in the process of upgrading from my 2521H Alienware. Do you use the 25inch esports mode for games like Valorsnt or Apex or do you just use the native size with 1440p?
Using native at 1440
"Seekreal Dawn Pro" are better than "Simgot EM6L" right? and if anyone knows by how much? ty.
Any headset recommendations for headsets for gaming with out an amp?
Maybe the pc38x. I haven’t tried the audeze Maxwell yet
I see in your tier list the aful performer 8 is above the orchestra lites. Is the performer 8 better in gaming than the orchestra lites?
No
yes but i prefer the performer 5 over the lites and performer 8
What about best budget IEMS for console!!
Great Work ❤
Would you make a video about what IEM/Headphone DAC/AMP combo would be good together on certain budgets?
I have some amp dac videos coming
@@FreshReviewsYT Topping dx1 will be on it ?
the topping dx1 is an amazing little dac/amp that will work with 99% of iems and headphones. It is very clean so no noise when hooking it up to an computer with usb. Lot of reviews on it. @@daigal1
@@daigal1 no but I might look at the smsl m300 which I believe is around 120$
Hi Fresh will you be reviewing the FiiO FX15?
Will try
Would be very interested in your thoughts on the Sony MDR-MV1 for gaming and if it will get on the wallhack for headphones.
Didn’t like it. Imaging was ok tuning was meh and a bit shouty. Not as good as the 560s or 900 pro x
@@FreshReviewsYT Good to know I been looking for a lightweight headphone for summer gaming.
Hey fresh, I just wanted to ask if you had any issues with the smsl c200 cause I’ve been having some poping and crackling in one of my Iems and I upgraded the power cable and used a different usb c cable and nothing
I have not ! I wonder if it’s the IEM itself or the amp dac. Have you tried something else?
@@FreshReviewsYT I only have the truthear zero (blue) but I think the issuse seems to be a windows driver , but thank you so much for the reply man I
Appreciate you
Hey Fresh, do you have any plans on reviewing the Sony MDR-MV1?
I’ve used them. Was not a fan
@@FreshReviewsYT Thanks for the quickly reply man!
Hey Fresh, I know this is a somewhat older video, and a comment on a much older video too, but would you say the aful p8 is that much better than the p5? Musically speaking and somewhat competitive gaming wise that is. I'm leaning more to the p5 for the size, but the p8 is promising for the added clarity. Just unsure if the p8 is justifiable for me as I'm not playing super competitive games, but I do like that crystal clear sound
I think it is
@@FreshReviewsYT good to know, and thanks for the reply. Size is an issue for me. My ouranos fit alright with minimal poking out of my ears, but the nozzle is painful. Is the p8 similarly sized to the ouranos or smaller? I remember you doing a budget shootout a while back and that one was in there. Had someone also recommend me the mangird tea 2 since I'm mainly a metalhead mixed with some instrumental and edm. So the p5 just isn't worth it now?
@@TheSakuraBirb p5 is absolutely fine and overall i prefer it way more than the p8 for overall iem.
any plans on reviewing the letshuoers s12/s12 pro?
I have in a round up. Did not like them for gaming
Hey Fresh, I see the Aful P8 ended up no3. Deciding over Aful P8 and Cannon2. Are they performing close in Valorant? Any comments on these two?
My preference is canon 2
@@FreshReviewsYTthanks for sharing!❤
Hi fresh would you recommend seek real pro over kiwi orchestras for valorant and for my SMSL 200 iems do i use 6.5 or 4.4 jack
Go 4.4. Both the seek real and kiwis are great for valorant
@@FreshReviewsYT would you prefer any over other i have kiwis rn but they’re a bit to big i wanna switch but not lose sound quality
is QKZ HBB still worth buying?
Yea
Do you have any opinion on budget iem like moondrop chu - 7hz zero - wan'er tangzu for Apex Legends?
Didn’t like any of them
He likes the qkz hbb at that budget. Go for it.
💯💯💯
i like 7hz Sonus 😁 should i buy this iem 🤔 ?
It’s not bad at all
Wheres the P8 review?
Simgot ew200 vs Crin red vs 7hz Sonus? Best technical set?
For gaming or music
@@FreshReviewsYT music edit: I mostly listen to jazz, rock, metal, tecnho and orchestra
@@nileshgardi1783 I’d check out the simgot Em6l
What about the KZ AS24??
Look forward to your Sonus review! Especially as the 7hz Zero was what got me into iems for gaming.
I bought the em6l recently based on your reviews and love it. But this hobby is addictive and my wife is starting to get impatient lol. Waiting for the Sonus review.
Hahaha true
could you please, please try a FiiO IEM?
Yea sure! I’ve been meaning to
I recently got the EM6L and i have the Truthear Zeroes and Fiio FH3. I would rank them like this. EM6L > FH3 (benefits a lot from 4.4mm balanced output) >> Truthear Zeroes.
FH3 probably got better bass, and hits harder, but the EM6L isn't any slouch there either. But em6l does layering and separation better than the other two. Em6l is also easier when it comes to upper mids, hence less shouty.
One may even find the fh3s more fun than the em6l, but the em6l is crisp. Em6l to me overall is the better iem because of its better technicalities objectively speaking, but can't lie that the fh3s come close and maybe probably more fun depending on what game I'm playing.
But for competitive gaming fh3 i felt wasn't great at depth perception.
I dont get how the kiwi ears orchestra lite are not in this video (despite the fact that they are in the Background
Because I’ve already reviewed them.. 😂
Aful makes me think Awful. Glad to hear it's in fact a decent performer.
Yoooooooo
have you ever tried any 64audio iem? I see a lot of Escape From Tarkov streamers using and sponsoring them, so I was wondering if I could get your opinion on this, thanks!
they are no better than any mid range iem, it's jsut as you said. 64audio sponsor those streamers and that is why they have them...
