Just out of curiousity, if you prefer the more "controlled" bass response of the canon 2's, what keeps the xenns top at the highest rank of your tier list? I know you emphasized its a very close call between the two. just wondering if, for someone like myself who is looking for the best competitive edge, and where the extra ~120 for the xenns top isnt a big deal, was there a specific reason to choose to put the xenns at the top of the list? was it that slightly higher resolution and airiness you referred to that took the cake?

I own these headphones 1. is not a close back it has a metal cover with holes in them, there is a lot of damping. 2. the headphones are very microfonic if you touch the metal you can hear it a bit disturbing. 3. I disagree that has a good bass, they are bright I have 4 different amps including tuve amps and they are very bright with all amps. 5. yes good value but they are not as great as all the reviwers want you to think. They remind a lot of the Superlux HD668 which are 47 dollars.

Hey Fresh, I was wondering what do you think is the current BEST wallhacking IEM STRICTLY being able to hear footsteps the best u can and nothing else matters, money is not an issue, Im on console ps5/xbox series X and i would prefer to use no DAC, Im looking to be as competitive as possible and use sound to the biggest advantage as possible

infinitymice speed v2 is my favourite pad atm. Firm, smooth, consistent, fast and durable.

What eartips you recommend for these? I use moondrop spring tips or final audio type E. Would these work good?

I want to buy great all-purpose iems, currently ordered the SM4 and the FiiO Ka17. I think I will upgrade eventually, at first there were only positive reviews, now I'm reading and people don't really like them, the same Splendor you like better))) What would you recommend for pop and for games? budget up to 1000 dollars ( of course better price-quality, if the iems for 600 dollars is not much different from 900, it's better for 600. ahahahah ), preferably several models, I would be very grateful!

I just bought the HD560s based on the strength of your reviews this past week, but I find it uncomfortable on my hears (not blaming you of course) but I may just return them and try out the 990X. Yes it's 70 cdn more but I hope it will be more comfortable and based on you and other gaming focused audiophile reviewers it seems like it will be a one and done headphone purchase for any budding audiophile fps gamer. (with a Zen dac air in my case)
