Very nice production! 👍 There is a funny thing about the name of this product. Whenever I saw the name, it just looked like it says "Awful Performer" 😄
I was hesitating between this iem and the sa6 ultra. It looks beautifull, and sounds the way i like : neutral with little bass boost. I finally choosed the Sa6 ultra. More i use it, more i like it, even if there is not DD for bass.

I'm having huge doubts between the 7hz timeless and Aful P5.
I've watched some other guys saying P5 have a lil less resolution, maybe cause its not a planar, than the timeless and i'd really love to know what you think about it.
PS.: Here the timeless is like $30~40 cheaper, but the reviews of the P5 are soooo good...

Very nice review! Unfortunately I can't decide between the Performer 5 and the Hidizs MP145. It would be important to me that the vocals are very close to the ear and that the whole thing has an intimate sound and everything sounds detailed. It should be operated with my Qudelix 5K, can you perhaps help me with the choice?

Another note if you have something higher end like DUNU SA6, it's all BA. But does the SA6 make the Performer 5 not worth having on the side?
Thank you! The SA6 is on a whole other level in terms of performance. So the only reason to get the Performer 5 too is if you just want to expand your collection or maybe just to have something less expensive but still performs well to carry around when you're on the go. I know I don't like taking my more expensive iems when I'm traveling.

How does this iem compare to the S12 Pro? I just bought it during the 11.11 sales but I'm a basshead guy and the S12 aren't delivering enough of the boom boom sound that I really crave for plus i gotta heavily EQ it but then sibilance appears.. So is this any better in that department? or something else like the Ikko OH10? god knows when ill order another pair of iems tho as I just shelled out over 350$ during this sale lol

Great review! The shell design really reminds me of the Monarch MK II, hopefully it isn't as big.
Thank you! I agree, I thought the same thing when I first saw it. It's smaller for sure. I don't have a Monarch MK2 on hand anymore but I remember it feeling a little big. The P5 fits my ears perfectly.

From the reviews, if 7hz is A and A ( tuning + technicality) aful is most likely A+ and A-
So aful have better tuning BUT worse technicality
They are mostly the same, one is not an upgrade to the other. It's "choose only one" kind of choice with them

Curious if you still feel the same about these IEMs at this price point compared to others that have some out since? I wanna pull the trigger on these, but there are so many IEMs to pick from these days it makes it very hard to figure out which to buy
why do you say it competes at $300 while you say it on par with timeless ?
It has similar technical capabilities as timeless but it sounds more natural, has better tuning and overall, is just more engaging imo. Also better in terms of design, fit and comfort at least for my ears. Thanks for watching!
