You still at ups? What does a preloader does , I have orientation the 3th of October ,$21$ 4-930 , will I get a lunch break and I’m I seasonal ? The job post didn’t say seasonal
It is a good thing that you're covered by the health insurance benefits, because at 12:30 those ducks were coming at you, I'm hoping you got Afclac!!! 😂
Therefore, the more appropriate question to ask is why you are no longer employed with UPS when UPS is evidently the superior company in terms of pay, promotion, benefits, and a union.
So i dont like how hard it is to get hours. I have employees that have been with the company for 25 plus years, that struggle to get a double shifts. Its extremely hard to get a full-time position in management. There was a group of supervisors that bullied out another supervisor, to get her position, She almost quit. Its a rough job and only good for the benefits.
@@dustyclore7406 I started 3 weeks ago when I applied 2 months ago because I work for ups but they only have me as a seasonal hire but fed ex gave me part time all year around job
I got Orientation for UPS upcoming Monday, maybe I missed it, but do they have pay time off? are you even allowed to ask for some days off after some months of working?
For the first 30 work days, its your trial period, at that time, you don't have union cover or anything, which means, if your management decide to let you go for whatever reason, they can do that, and that's why a lot of new hire got fire within the first 30 days, keep in mind, call in and late to work even you reported, as long as you're not over your 30 days, they can fire you at will. And after that, you have senority, which you start get your union cover, but you don't get holiday pay during holidays, for example, people who been in UPS more than 1 year and decide to work on holiday gets Triple pay, if they decide to not work they still get double, and if you are under 1 year, you work holiday you get double, if you don't work you get regular rates. For time off, you don't get option/vacation week until the Janaury after your 1 year, pay attention, "THE JANUARY AFTER YOUR 1 YEAR". Vacation time off counts as 4 hours each day, option counts as 5 hours per day, you can work during option week and you will receive two pay checks, which basically means if you work during option week, you gets double pay the whole time.
@@weitingliu1701 do they hire older people like in their 40s and can i request the least physically demanding job like a scanner /sorter? I’m not disabled but overweight so i can’t see walking in and out of trucks all day. Thx for any information. I didn’t realize they had such good benefits.

Why did you pull all the time at ups to leave to a lesser company knowing ups is all about seniority
Ups insurance is 9 months
