    Great video and a happy discovery for us. Thank you for showcasing our product. If you need a repair in the near future consider it our treat. If you need inside flaps bring it by we can add those for you. The reason why we do the flaps on the outside is to prevent any directional rain from coming in and wetting the inside of your tent. Thank you! and we wish you great success with your CZcams channel.

    I have 4 different wall tents and one is over 35 years old, always hang and dry your tent after each outing and they will last for decades. A fly made out of blue tarp material is cheap and keeps your tent so much dyer. I make my own poles out of trees cause i pack in with horses and my wall tents are much smaller, largest one 12x14 . Look after your tent and wood stove and it will look after you until your grandkids can come on a hunt with you.

    What size wood stove do you use or recommend for your size of tent? We purchased a 16x20 Northwest Wall Tent and are now wanting a larger no frills wood stove as our cooking will be in a different tent.

      @BCBackwaters  Před 3 lety

      We use a 22” stove made by Great West Metal you can see it on my Instagram page. If we load this full of wood we can get the tent up to 30 degrees celsius. I would suggest their large 26” stove for a 16 x 20 tent.

    Looks expensive tent material. It would've been good over a wooden base, if it's installed in own backyard.

    • @BCBackwaters
      @BCBackwaters  Před 2 lety +1

      I believe I paid around $1800 for tent and poles much better pricing then some other tent makers out there. Material is very heavy duty and yes it would be really nice on a wood deck!!

      Northwest Wall tents actually give you really good instructions and they laminate it so they don’t get destroyed otherwise I’d be in the same boat! Lol

      Use coloured electrical tape on the joints, legs one colour, rafters another, ridge and walls horizontals a 3rd...or a sharpie description for the porch poles

      @@BCBackwaters Awesome thanks, im looking at that exact size with 5’ porch from deluxe wall tents. Not sure if i should go with northwest or deluxe

    • @BCBackwaters

      @@blacktailbowhunter0135 Can’t say much about Deluxe but the reason I went with Northwest was it was exactly what I wanted at a much better price!

      @@BCBackwaters I like that the floor has a velcro seal option to keep critters out. And they offer a rain fly where as deluxe doesn’t. Seems i may have to lean towards this northwest tent. Thanks for the video and quick reply’s

      @@blacktailbowhunter0135 Floor is great just keep the Velcro clean and you should be goo the rain fly was also good I just found I got one a little small and I wish it cam over the sides a bit more.
