    hey my lovelies, thanks to Lucy over on my Instagram who requested that I make this a video .. In this video am showing you how I used the pigments Coade, Terracotta and a made up Turquoise to just have fun no matter the abstract outcome. I am using Jesmonite and pigments supplied by Polysil:
    www.polysil.co.uk/
    I will be doing a video soon on creating colours from scratch and the mixes needed for colours such as Khaki and Coral etc ...
    Thank you all so much for the love on my last video. I was utterly overwhelmed with the response and your support.

The only thing what I have noticed lately the I am using Jesmonite, is that I have a lot of bubble in the back of the shapes. So if the consistency is thin it’s ok to add just a little more powder to get the thicker consistency?

    • @ClairesCraftyCorner
      @ClairesCraftyCorner  Před 2 lety +1

      Heyyyy Tammy, adding more powder or more liquid does actually weaken the product. However, becaue the main body of the tray was the correct ration of 1:2.5 the trays are strong enough. I would not change the ratio for the main body of the piece ... but I feel like the splashes were ok being a bit thicker with extra powder. You can actually buy a thickening agent to make the jesmonite thicker without weakening it x but I have not bought it x
