- In today's video, I am giving you a flip through of my Artist's Book - Wabi Sabi. I have always been fascinated by Japanese culture, and how they seem to live two opposite lives - the ultra modern, super crazy city life in Tokyo, and the quiet, balance traditional life in the countryside, connected so closely to the balance of nature. I hope you enjoy this flipthrough and I would love to hear what you think.
Thank you!
If you enjoy this video, it would be great if you could give it a thumbs up, leave a comment, or even subscribe so you don’t miss any updates!
** SUPPLIES **
I try my best to be sustainable with all of my supply purchases - this often means being very patient and waiting for a lot of those supplies to appear in charity shops! However, I do buy some things new and when I do I will link to them!
- repurposed packaging
- handmade papers
- ephemera
If you like this book and are interested in purchasing it - please contact me directly.

Beautiful, Elora! Is this the journal you need dragons for? I love this, so much work ❤️🙏🏼
Thanks! The dragons are for another one I will hopefully complete soon 😂
I Love that you try to be sustainable.
I ince tried to but then the spending spree took over 🙈 i bought so much stuff for my Junk journaling its crazy. Sure some stuff i bought in second hand shops online or in my City but still.
I really wish i could just swap/exchange materials like stencils with other people more easily.
I am very interested in the paper making methods you mentioned. I will look them up
lol don’t get me wrong my spending sprees happen sometimes too! But thankfully I usually reel myself in!! I’m not sure where you live but there are lots of swap groups on FB and a lovely community! I help run one for Europe and one for the UK we often do swaps and wishes!
