    Awesome review. \m/ both sounded good, but I personally like the mooer little tank D15 more.

    Great review, just A - B comparison with short licks. I just wonder if a Multi-Fx wouldn't be the better choice, as it offers the same or more possibilities and the channels are switchable by foot.

    • @AlexBrunoDemo

      Thank you!
      Yeah, but just a MultiFX with headphones? This would be a no for me. Playing with headphones is uncomfortable in my opinion.
      Easy all in one solution for practice = Vox.
      If you combine the little Tank with a 1x12 cabinet then it’s the same bit with more thumb / rumble. (Vox feels a bit better under your fingers)

      If you mean for a live gig
      then MultiFX into PA is definitely better

    Well probably a dumb question but I'd imagine the parameters of the little tank would be customizable ( being digital) not sure how the vox COULD be though? .... Never played through either so i wouldn't know but it ALREADY seems the mooer is WAY MORE versatile .... Of course i don't know shit about either but maybe someone out there DOES lol

    • @AlexBrunoDemo
      @AlexBrunoDemo  Před 4 lety +1

      The Vox has a bit more parameters to change if you use the toneroom app. (resonance, presence, low cut switch, mid boost switch)
      But the variety of cabsims on the mooer make it at least more adjustable to your room and guitar.
      Both have a place in their world.

      Well I'm definitely not a tech guy at age 48 lol but i DO have a pretty good understanding of the built-in parameters on the older effects pedals that can be dialed in without any apps or online crap lol ... Definitely the little tank for ME man and i WAS dead set on something with actual tubes BUT after hearing it in a couple vids on here I'm about sold on the Mooer lol

    • @AlexBrunoDemo
      @AlexBrunoDemo  Před 4 lety

      It sounds pretty good with a real guitar cab...
      The thing with tube amps is that you have to spend some money to get a good sounding.

      Well I just said fuck it and ordered the little tank AND the black truck lol ..... But of course THEN I see the ge300 ...... NOW I want THAT too lol

    Really cool video! Did you record the audio from the VOX using its own USB cabble as an audio interface?

    • @AlexBrunoDemo
      @AlexBrunoDemo  Před 6 lety +1

      Thank you Junio!
      I’ve used the headphones output on both. This was the best way to make a fair comparison.

    • @juniocunha8715
      @juniocunha8715 Před 6 lety

      Got it
      For the comparison that way was better but have you tried to use the USB function on the VOX? If yes do you think it sounds better recording the headphone output with another audio interface instead of using its own USB function?

    • @AlexBrunoDemo
      @AlexBrunoDemo  Před 6 lety +1

      Yes, I’ve tried recording through usb.
      I don’t think that there is a big difference. Probably there is more bandwidth through usb.
      The headphones output could be equalized for headphones use.

    Vox my favourite

      @AlexBrunoDemo  Před 6 lety

      For me to.
      But the Mooer sounds very good through a 1x12” Speaker cabinet (a real one, no simulation). It’s moving a lot of air, good pressure.

      Alex Bruno Demo 12" in the box cabinet good size ,but i used my headfones( Marshall II) whith Vox,their pressure is enough)

    Hi, Alex :) First of all many thanks for your informative and helpful videos :) Vox Adio Air GT really got my attention and I want to ask you if it is good enough as a recording interface, because currently I plug my guitar directly into the line in of the PC and the sound is not very good, so can the Vox be used instead of a dedicated audio interface for the guitar - PC connection?

    • @AlexBrunoDemo
      @AlexBrunoDemo  Před 6 lety

      Hi Isaac!
      It is definitely better than the line input of your pc!
      The sound through USB is actually very good.
      You can even use the intern speakers as monitors (actually you need to use them cause the adio replaces your soundcard when connected)
      I couldn’t feel much of a latency so you should be fine.
      Greetings
      Alex Bruno

      PS: The background music of my outro in my vids is recorded via the adio as an interface.

    Hello))
    Do you think Vox can be used with acoustic drums? Enough of it 50 wat? Or his 50 Wat can not be compared with the usual 50 cotton combo?

    • @AlexBrunoDemo
      @AlexBrunoDemo  Před 5 lety +1

      Hi
      It has more power if you use it plugged.
      So max ±25W x 2 RMS solidstate.
      Some people say a tube amp is 2,5 times louder than a solidstate.
      This would mean 25W : 2,5 = 10 W per speaker
      So like you are using to 10 Watt tube amps in stereo or with a splitter.
      I don’t think that it is loud enough. Probably if your drummer is a very quiet one but I haven’t tried this.
      If he uses a Cajon probably.

      @@AlexBrunoDemo Yes! Thank you very much )) I'm likely to look towards Marshall code50 Boss or Katana 50

    • @AlexBrunoDemo
      @AlexBrunoDemo  Před 5 lety +1

      I think the Katana has an analog drive circuit so zero latency which makes it feel better. The Code has more options tone wise.
      Please let me know which one you’ve chosen 😊
