I have to disagree with the comments about the music, I think it is well produced with little touches throughout that stop it from sounding overly boring and repetitive. In a season where it feels like half the songs are getting a revamp (as if they were rushed and not given the necessary time to be produced well), this song needs no changes.
I love this song, it's my number 2 and I think it has top 10 potential. Will do better with the public vote than the juries
You know, I want to dislike it, but I simply cannot. It's actually a great song with goofy lyrics and fun dancing. It's so hard not to just love it! I think it will do well, despite all the hate it's getting across ESC social media groups right now.
keiino also did get hate from,esc social media and was called copy cat because finlands songs the year before and they got most point from the people and i think it will happen again to this song only if the jury dident want to ruin it

On 20th July, 1969, a prophet named Neil appeared to them in a stable, and was soon hailed ‘the man with the strongest arms’. He promised to return telling them he would help them become the biggest band on his planet too, but only once they had written the greatest song in the universe, sung in his native tongue -English. Neil never returned however, and so now armed with the greatest song in existence, ‘Give That Wolf A Banana’, they have come to earth in search of him, and to claim their musical throne by performing at the most important and prestigious musical event in the history of the world -MGP Norway 2022.

Norway is going to get a great televote score this year and they’ll sail through to the final with that. The song is fun and it’s not going to win (the juries will see to that,) and this is definitely one of those songs you only get at the ESC. I’ve got it at 12th place.
The Norwegian national final was amazing and runner up Northkid was just as great and popular. This said I love love love this song and I am sooooo happy it will be on the big stage. My winner!

this group was put together for eurovision…and rumour has it…its Ben Adams from the british uk boyband back to the millenium shift. together with a norwegian idol contender named gaute ormåsen. A1 had chart toppers back then. Best wishes from Norway🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴

Its a whole consept.They are 4,5 million years old and they are from space, They are already intergalaxic stars and have come to earth to concer the biggest music festival. they lived the last thousand years on the moon, and have a profet called armstrong ( they call him the man with the strongest arms.) when they reached the earth they took the form of the first living creature they met ( and it was woolfs ) but they didn,t deside on names yet ( that,s why i kall you Keith and Jim in the song). There is also a lot more, but too long to write with my poor google english. it,s quite fun when you got the hole story ( consept 🙂 No one knows who they are, but it,s most belived that its Gaute Ormåsen and Ben Adams from A1. the rumors has it that DJ astronaut is Alan Walker, but this is more unsure.

the reason for use of "Banana" is t0 rhyme with Grandma. That's it. Also there is rampant theorizing that it is all a COVID allegory: the wolf is COVID, Grandma is your elderly loved one, and Banana represents getting a shot.
It's just fun...my favorite song this year. Lyrics are goofy gibberish, but the song has a nice melody...and both vocalists have lovely voices. Visually it's just so much fun! The costumes, the dance, their social media presence...has all just been a delight. I think this will win the televote, but probably not get much love from the jury. So not sure how it'll rank overall. But in general, it's just everything I want from Eurovision...gives me joy!
I didn’t love it at first simply because of the concept. But I’ve since yielded to it and it’s among my favorites. It’s fun but still a solid entry musically.

There is a theory about the song promoting vaccination against Corona, the wolf being a metaphor for the virus and the banana representing the vaccine.
I also thought of the Lithuanian song last year, but this is catchier and has more character.
Out of all the entries this year to not COMPLETELY hate on and say 'I love it', this was THE ONE. If you disrespected this song AS WELL, it would have been over for your channel...
The guys is Ylvis (what does the fox says) sings the ref and the astranaut is Gaute Ormåsen the leading vokals I belive

Two guys from Norway called Stargate, have made music for many of the biggest stars in the us (loock them up) and else were. And they made the music for Ylvis and "the Fox".

Eurovision songcontest has left the original concept of songwriting and singing contest long ago. I haven't figured out what it's really about now, but ut seems like it's a combination of glamor and entertainment contest wraped in a music-ish theme. No matter what it is, this song in particular is a comedy stick. I hope. It might do well in the final because of the comedic value.

I really like the song I wish that they had a little more variety in the Lyrics department...( like a story how the grandma fights and beats the wolf) If they did it would have been perfect we are kinda sick of love songs anyway they are pretty standard .... fun songs like this one that dosen't take itself seriously are absolutely gems!
