I literally just now cleaned mine with 70%. The stuff I had written on it had been there for about 4 years. Still, thanks for the suggestion.

This worked perfectly! Quick, easy, what’s not to love? It (91% Isopropyl Alcohol) also cleaned the plastic edging, pen holders, and pens beautifully. It took some effort to get into the edges where the board met the plastic, but in under 10 minutes I have a “looks like new” dry erase board again. Thank you! Now I need to find a way to refurbish the cork strips on it…
