Today we are talking about the rules of GIN RUMMY.
In Gin Rummy, each player is supposed to get 100 points by using their hands to form combinations of three or more cards before their opponent.
In Gin Rummy, scoring is done based on the cards.
The order of the cards, from highest to lowest, is king (K), queen (Q), jack (J), ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, deuce, and an ace.
As far as the value of the cards is concerned, the figure cards are worth 10 points and the other cards are worth the value indicated by their pips.
A 52 card deck without the wild cards is used to play the game.
The game begins when the deck is spread out on the table and each player takes a card.
