en passant.... such a tricky move,i`ve always got a pawn next to me and i didn´t even know this move. So I want to thank this video for letting me know also every move in chess. Thankyou so much🙂
This helped so much! I understand how the chess pieces move on. Thank you! 😊
thats just the basic things theres so much other things as well like defending whilst attacking and etc
@@ProGamer-li1zmYeah obviously. They were just a beginner who needed to learn how the pieces move before anything else.
Came here to learn chess after watching the Queens Gambit
Hahahaha me too!!
The video is nice, but the castling move was explain incorrectly (The king should go to c1 and not not to b1 and the rook should go to d1)
@@ChessHoodie how do i do a promotion if chess sets don’t come with extra bits?
@@rosalinequeen8416 you can improvise, with whatever you have available, it is common to put a rook upside down instead of extra queen if available
OMG, this sounds so complicated but I've just restarted learning how to play after 50 years since my last game.
Queen’s gambit again folks
😂😂
no
Yes
I also like to watch queen's gambit
Yes
I started to play after watching the Queen's Gambit 😀

This Really Helped Me Learn About Chess!
Fantastic, thanks for your efforts
That was a lot to take in at once...WOW. But that was good information, thank you!
great explanation. TQVM
Very helpful for my chess team I played it for them earlier
You forgot about the 'Petunk' move, its a common variation of the game It goes like this: If a player has not moved his Rook with 8 moves the opposing player then has the power of Petunk. This only lasts for a further 8 moves before being cancelled. At any time during those 8 moves the player with the power of Petunk can throw HIS or her Rook AT the opposing player. The purpose is to strike your opponent in the head scoring 3 'Petunk points' Cruically they must also shout 'PETUNK !' loudly or the move is invalidated Since it is done without warning there is a good chance of scoring HOWEVER, if the player on the receiving end of the Petunk can deflect the piece using his hands then he scores a single point AND the power of Petunk is handed to that player and their opponent becomes 'Un-Petunked '
Shilpa here is the message
this variation kinda sucks ngl
Those are the basics
I have to call bullshit on this. It's not after 8 moves; it's after 6 moves when Petunk can be invoked. (7 moves in Bulgaria).
Good explanation ty
Super helpful thanks😜
Pawn is not the weakest they are front line like Infantry and crucial and very important for the infrastructure! And the only piece that have the potential to be greater than all the pieces except the King!!
Thankyou so much
Opening statement: ''...Chess for kids...''
Strategically brilliant insult!
This position at the end of the game seems similar to the position in the tie break game 1 match for the 2018 world championship against Fabiano.
Tq dear love it
Queens gambit inspired many it seems hahaha
I haven't played chess since high school and came to refresh my memory because now my son (9 years old), wants to learn after reading Harry Potter 🤓🤓🖤🖤
I told my friend I was a master chess player 😱 this helped me in our 1v1
Thank you ❤️♥️♥️❤️
fun fact : whatever tile bishop is on will stay on that color for the rest of the game , ex : if bishop is on white tile , can only stay on that tile and cant go to a black one.
This will help my son a lot and me 😊
You show Queenside castling wrong. The King should wind up on C1, and the Rook on D1. When castling in either direction, the King always moves 2 squares, with the Rook "jumping" to the other side of the King.
Love the video, can you please also explain queen side castling?
Good explanation
Looking forward for more strategies, tactics and detailed videos of chess
I don't like your username! And I don't know what it means soooo.......
I think it means Allah gave. Im unsure if the persons intentions are pure or not@@Ze_Moose
For Castling: The King cannot be in nor pass through ANY check, not just checkmate.
At first I thought I couldn’t win cause this video had me lost asf but wtfffff I just won idk how but I won 💪🏽💞 you deserve a promotion Fr
Can you give a short and simple basic rules😊
I've got a good question for your CZcams channel. How many different games are there in B-Daman?
Very good
If we attack the straight ward instead of moving cross way
Nice video
3:32 you say that you have to change the piece what if you’re playing and your opponent hasn’t taken any of your pieces can you still pretend that the pawn is Queen knight Bishop etc? Or are you only allowed to change into a piece that has been taken?
Thx for this video. Watching this two days before a chess tornement when I have no idea how to play chess lol.
good luck lol
My three year old asked me to play chess and I don’t remember much from high school. We can learn together.
If my queen is at d7 and my knight is at c5 and my opponents king is check and he can move his king at f8 but he instead eat my queen and I ate the king and I won is that allowed or not?
long castling is wrong, the king should go to c1 and the rook should go to d1.
time: 1:11 of the video
I was schearching this comment before making it myself.
I hope no beginners remembers it wrong.
i know how to play but i think after watching this i wil learn something new

Nice and nice try i am also a chess player only
The king castling to left(queenside) is wrong. The king only move 2 spaces, not three as shown in video.
Watching this rn cos i got assigned to play chess representing our class just because im great at math (idk the correlation either) even tho i literally dk how to play LMAO
Good luck. you may find you have a knack for it.
How did you do ?
I am learning how to play chess Any tips
Can Queen move without check ?
WUTANG brought me here g
I’m still confused.
Why is so hard to learn this game guys... I looked for simple ways to learn, apps etc, none hits home.
Sorry to hear. What have you tried so far? Are you just trying to learn the rules or do you have another goal?
Can the king move backwards
Can a pawn take a queen
A pawn can capture a Queen, yes. Pretty cool.
Someone is, "Breaking The Rules"; inside the World Game of Chess; If Not Contained Soon ; An Undesirable Outcome is a compleat Fallout ?
I started to play today

😍😊😊😊❤️❤️❤️
My dad doesn’t understand stalemate the last rule he thought he won can you make a special video about stalemate
Thank you for watching the video. Please stay tuned to the chess series Stalemate complete details are COMING SOON.
im watching this cuz our school has a tournament
QG!
you queen side castled incorrectly at 1:11....other wise pretty good
Thank you please watch complete video about Castling click link czcams.com/video/M72DEPy9alk/video.html
Black Queen 😋
6:36 I don't understand how there can be only two Kings left on the board and still in play if only two kings being left on the board results in a draw (mentioned just before)?
The video made it a bit confusing, but you're right. If there are only Kings on the board, the game would immediately end in a draw (draw by insufficient material). For the video example they should have put a few more pieces on the board. All the best!
I wana know clearly of stalemate can u explain sir?
Hello. Stalemate happens when someone's King is not in "check", but they have no legal moves to play on the board. The game then ends in a draw. Hope that helps.
@1:00 The queen is on the incorrect square
1:08 i dont think queenside castling moves the king 3 steps.
I should start making and selling chess kits lol
I'm too dumb for this.
When you showed the castling on queen side
It is wrong. Why? Beacuse the king moves 2 steps not 3
was trying to code up a chess game, this video is kinda making me regret it
ya i think this will help me beat my cousin in chess.
It depends ....
Came here to learn chess bc of the queen's gambit
Queens gambit lmao
Moving the king: A king can not move within one square of the opposing king?
I can beat my ate right now
Came here after winning a bigger match on a game.
You think this is confusing. You should learn the science of Bowling.
I came here because we had a match against a school and i did not know how to play properly and i lost
I'm OK with draft this is so confusing
Agreed.
Well that explanation wasn't very well, as it was mainly about edge cases. Who ever wants to play this beautiful game, play it without these edge cases in the begining. Just remember:
Rock - move in straight lines.
Bishop - move in diagnols.
Knight - 2 squares straight and one sqare aside.
Queen - straight and diagnols.
King - like queen but only one sqare.
Pawn - moves only forward one swaure each time, and can move 2 squares at the first time it moves. It eats in diagnol (one sqare in diagnol).
If pawn reaches the last line, he can becomes what ever you chose.
The goal: threat the king of the other side, and that king has nothing to do. Check mate.
you learn fast..... after teach others
Queenside castling the king only move 2 squares not 3
I’m so lost

Homeless fire
Knight can jump
Didn't get all of that Chief.......... The part after listen carefully
Your queen-side castling at 7:25 is not accurate.
Came here to win an iMessage game 😭

Hello classmates hakhakhak
Did anyone else cringe when they demonstrated castling by moving the king to b1?
En passant is odd rule
