I really hated Mother Whale. I only managed to beat it through youtube guides. I didn't have the bunny girls, but I did have Liter, Centi, Scarlet, Modernia and Privaty. It was just a race against my attack VS the damage I received back. Now onto the hoarding issue, the more stages you complete you level up and gain more idle resources which also affect the amounts you get in the crates. I like collecting resources and just leaving it in my inventory, but the best way to efficient use your resources is ONLY use them when you need to increase your power for story content. Otherwise level up once a day ans save most of your crates for future story updates.
Very true, most people say you need specific units but this vid shows you could just Brute force it if you don't have them xD. This video isn't to show minmax, just shows a proof of concept on what you could do.
Got modernia to help on mother whale. But what actually was a joke ended up being the win.....I have bunny soda, but she was only level 1.....the extension burst worked....
Hoarding crates for that long u just lost thousands of cores to increase lvls, the futher in campaing u are (normal and hard modes) the more resources u get to level up from Crates, by hoarding them and staying at low lvl and stuck early-mid campaing, u just lose thousands of resources.
U should have been pushing campain and everytime u get stuck open a couple crates and level up and keep pushing further because the further u are the more resources u will get every hour and in every opened crate...
Probably what you could have done if you're gonna calculate every single time and midmax, unfortunately this video is to prove a point, which it did. Most F2p players are probably not gonna have cores, especially those who just started due to the anniv.
you' re right. i have 2 accounts. a f2p and a small-pay. the syncro lvl of f2p account is 294 and the small-pay' syncro lvl is 303.
these 2 accounts will use the resources when i stack at the main story(normal/hard).
we should use the resources to push the main campaign as much as we can to lvl up outpost lvl for more resources.
The hidden rule is, only use these box when you stuck at normal campaign and hard campaign.
If you stuck only level up one time then try campaign again, stuck? Level up one time again until you reach end of normal campaign.
That how to get most efficiency, but sometimes people did not want to calculate the box and use them all instantly.

I just use them cause I’m stuck at the 160 wall chapter 20-something can’t use them anyways so they keep stacking 🤷♂️
Why would you hold on that for half a year?? Bruh you easily missed out on hella gems just from not boosting your units

Well half joking.. but seriously if you're referring to the pre crate levels that I didn't upgrade it's because I wanted to put myself in a "new" players shoes to see how far I could take it in the main campaign. Tho idk what other gems I could miss out other than tribe towers, and while time gated, you're eventually gonna reach a point where you can't go any further anyway. H9w did he miss put on gems? He's still going to get the same amount of gems going through the game reguardless.
I think he's referring to tribe towers... Possibly solo raid, I can't think of any other content that could obtain gems... Not unless hes referring to the default campaign gem rewards that we get once we clear the stages
@@Doktr.26you couldn't rly "miss out" on any of those things because there will be a time where u get gapped in cp hard in terms of tower//story wherein solo raid, your lvl is set so I don't rly get what op means lol
The only thing you miss out is ressources.
The more stages you clear, the higher your Outpost level gets.
-> More ressources
Since: Higher Level = Higher passive income AND Crates value *inceeases*
So clear stages as soon as you can to keep your Outpost Level at the max you can currently achieve.
To max that, use enough crates to just level up and be able to clear so the rest of the crates have more value
new player here, i do a conservative approach,for example i have 165 crates of battle data set, i use 15, when i get once again maybe 166, i use 16, so i save up a big portion but i use also a portion of the resources. for example if i can advance more in the campaign i get a more lv up outpost so better resources in less time, the same if i upgrade the academy, more reward to claim in outpost but yeah i will same the 80% of my crates for later on.
Gotta minmax for that late game content bro, but that would be the most optimal approach if you can't hop over the latest chapter imho. The only reason I hoarded up to this long was partly for content and to see how far a "Just obtained 5 MLB" player could go in main and hard campaign ahaha

Yeah I wouldn't recommend it if you're completely new or trying to minmax, tho I would prefer to blow things up in one go rather than go back n forth

Thank you for making me realize that I was being stupid for months. I'm currently on chapter 17 (I'm not stuck yet, I'm just progressing slowly on purpose) and on Outpost Defense lvl 89. I've been using all the cases imediately after I got them because for some reason I thought the amount received was fixed (no, I didn't read the descriptions) and on events I was focusing on farming Battle Data. I guess it's still too early to say that I ruined my account, right?

Is it worth it cuz I been holding on do them for a quite awhile now buuutt right now I’m at 213 so should I spend all my resources to get 250?
Because I don't want to get cancelled from all the comments yelling at me in this vid I'm gonna say, if you're stuck , just spend till you're able to advance past the stage (usually 3 -5 levels) and then get stuck again and repeat. They are right to a certain extent that you get more resources if you finish more stages, and this video was made as an f2P to show how much you can get if you hoard for a certain period of time. Monthly hoarding I think should be good, considering you play campaign often xD
I save 100k dust at a time, I like going up by 10 everytime lol.

you need to take out the core on mother whale as fast as possible before it summons mobs, that way they don't get defense buffs and you do no dmg
Yeah, pre red hood my squad isn't powerful enough to do that. Will try during the union/ solo raid if mother whale comes back tho!
You need the twin bunnies. My lv is far below yours (i'm full f2p), beaten the mother whale before the cp nerf (i was lv 220-230 at that time, 160k cp). My team was dorothy, blanc, modernia, noir, privaty.
Yeah one problem... I don't have them 😂😂 they are standard banner units after all, if you've kept up with my guides I never recommend summoning for standard banner units.
Also here I'm trying to beat it at LVL 200, I doubt even with bunnies you could do that

I still dont use them since they are lacking quite some compared to my main units.
I used Doro, Quency, Scarlet, Mod and Privaty till Chapter 25 and just started using Rapunzel and Mast instead of Priv and Quency.
Pretty much cleared it.
On the other hand: Bunnies are amazing on GraveDigger for me and I like using them there

True, however I did this in very close proximity to the summer event, which means I could've spent my gems there instead
The further along the story mode, the more we make per hour. You see this happen every 5 stages you beat.
One should go up 1 level at a time and grind it out, this way the next time you want 10,000 core dust, it can be done with less crates.
Those who beat chapter 26 make more per hour. And we make even more as we progress through the hard mode.
Take what you need from the crates and leave them. They are named 1h, 2h, 8h, 12h, 24h for a reason.
To be clear you opened them all at lowered income, which is a huge mistake compared to someone who proceeded to increase their hourly income, and get more from each hourly crate and reached a higher level within the same amount of crates you used.
Correct, but doing this as a proof of concept. I never said that this is what you "Should" do but what you "could" do if you're stuck. Most people I talk to burn through resources with diminishing returns as they open all crates as soon as they're stuck without collecting or leveling up their T9 gear or waiting for manufacturer gears first.
I'm doing this with max T9 manus in the team to show how far you could get and intentionally forced my team to stay at MLB (LVL 200) to see how far we could make it in the main campaign. If not for the anniv' update, that would be at chapter 20 fighting nihlister, which is where most people blow their crates.

Yeah... you lose resources by not using them sooner.. the quicker you climb. The quicker you level up your outpost. What does your outpost do? It will gives you better resources at higher levels 😮 there is no point in saving resource boxs for it to give you 25 cores over 24 cores as your outpost will give you back more down the road.
True, just gotta wait till you hit that point where you're stuck tho. We've all been there xD
uhh no, stockpiling only gives you a very small percent gain, and the crates are based on base level, so unless you get a large increase in base level, which is going to be a small increase in per crate core dust gain, it really isnt worth sandbagging yourself to stockpile crates. I have been playing since week 1 and I am well into the 300s of level. The max level btw is determined by total nikkes collected, and the number of dupes.

Holding crates makes no sense to me. No matter what you do, you’ll be stuck at some point. You are going to use the crates so when you use them does not matter. When you use them, you probably will not have to use the materials you earn overtime till later. So nah just use them and don’t worry about storing them.
Agree to disagree. Should you hoard? If you can still push yes. Should you expend as much as I did here? Hell no. Doing this as a proof of concept. Thanks for watching tho!

The cap is determined by your Nikkes owned and amount of dupes of each unit you have up to their respective max limit break amount. (That means cores won't contribute to the cap)
Discovered mod equipment.....qorks far better..... 1k for core level vs 4k for mod equip....

as i see, you should be able to kill mother whale even before claim all the credit/data/boxes, but you dont know how, cause you played recklesly in post lvl up synchro too
1) put another burst 2 with 20 sec cooldown, 1pasive healer like rapunzel, pepper, marciana or even a helm (with another 2 burst 3)
2) manual modernia, but never burst with her, always burst with the other 2 b3.
3) destroy the core (the ball i the middle) that way the raptures dont gonna have the 1 hp per bullet defense.
4) time dorothy burst a bit (all the raptures summoned by whale can be destroyed using her burst passive, except the ones who falldown after the blue circle thing: they gonna have the buff 1 hp per bullet dmg ALWAYS, even with the core destroyed)
and the whale is dedge, just need to improve mechanics.
The only reason mother whale is the example here is because they've nerfed the difficulty for nihlister and mother whale's entire stage. Had that not been the case, this video would've been made during the "Big" stage boss fight hurdle with nihlister.
I agree that maybe with my roster, without bunnies (since I don't have them during this time) that maybe, maybe I could've beaten it with the aforementioned methods above. But the amount of time retrying and tryharding isn't worth it to me. I'd personally and happily blow my accumulated resources to show you guys how much 6 months worth of collecting is, all while achieving and defeating the stage boss all in 1 go.

@@Doktr.26 even without bunnies I think you can kill the whale too! The really necessary Nikkes are modernia and liter, obviously if you have some others likes rupee/Dolla and a good DPS like scarlet/Alice helps too.
