Don't smoke to impress your friends, kids. It's not worth sacrificing your life.
Thanks for sharing your story Micheal, it takes guts to show your feelings.
These videos helping many people.

Poor dude, he seems like a good cool guy. Sucks people fall victim to this type of stuff. I’ll never smoke, man..
Dr. Sintahaus I know him. He’s awesome
I feel so bad for him, it looks like he’s put on weight due the fact that he can’t be active anymore like he use too by doing what he loved to do :( he seems like a down to earth and genuine guy.
Michael thank you for sharing your story, I wish you well! My mother has COPD and still smokes. As kids we went without but she always had money for cigarettes. She is angry at everyone except herself
You.have helped.many people. The more people stop the better.
I don't know if Michael F will read this but every time I see the commercial he is in, I weep. Michael looks so much like my late husband. His life is most an exact parallel. Everything about him. How many packs a day, how long, the GED, the boat, working in construction, and eventually the high pressure long hours job. The nebulizer, the power scooter, all of it. I finally lost my sweet husband to COPD in 2017 after years of caring for him and trying to keep him as healthy as possible. He lived to 76 only because he quit in 2001 after being diagnosed with cancer. Michael, stay positive, stay as active as possible, and take care of yourself as best you can. Wishing you all the best.
Hello, I am Michael from the video. I am very sorry for your loss. I appreciate the kind words and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers..
Take these commercials To the corporations that make these addictive drugs. These people are just victims of corporations that feed these poisons to the consumer.
V C they choose to smoke themselves, why pick up a cigarette ?

Charles: Go and read The Happiness Trap by Russell Harris MD. That'll give strategies.
I had been smoking since age 14 and quitted cold turkey at age 39 in 2014. I just quitted, using no substitution or any crutch whatsoever. That was the absolute best method that really works. The first 3 years of quitting was the worst, as my body adjusted to the new condition and my lungs detoxed. Really taxing, physically and mentally. I personally don't think I could've handled that at age 66.
The reason for my quitting? My children. I quitted smoking when they were born. I didn't want them to grow up as a passive smoker, as I had been throughout childhood, teen and adult years. My dad was a heavy chain smoker till the day he died due to a heart attack, in 2006.
I love my dad. He's the best father, but he was a smoker.
Stay strong, though. Quitting is seriously good at any age--as long as it is not too late.
This is an excellent ad by him to warn current smokers or non-smokers this is what COPD does to your life when smoking for so long if you don’t get cancer or suffer a heart attack from it but instead get COPD
The fear of COPD made me quit cold turkey more than nine years ago. Not the money, not the stink, not being a pariah not even cancer. No, the fear of COPD...
Wow this weighs heavy as I watch my own life slip from my grasp.
May 2 2012 was my 17th birthday.
It was my 14th birthday.
These people started at a young age

Rey Mundo Pay attention. He lost a the ability to do the things he loved. He’s young and
Quit many years ago. Either you are 12 yrs old or just don’t understand what he’s saying
@@jaynesteiner4460 Or he's a troll.
this is where smoking gets you
Because of his COPD, he can no longer do any of his favorite activities, because they’re physically demanding. COPD doesn’t allow for physically demanding activities.
