Used to see these cars all the time on the road here in the states. They run forever. If you ever find one of these cars with a manual transmission that is basically the holy grail because those are super rare!

In Sweden, most people favor manual transmission, still to this day. When it comes to these, I'd say 80% of the ones you'd find are manuals.

@@JH-lo9ut I know. I still daily drive a manual transmission car myself. 2005 Honda CR-V. I love it!

Nice video. You were right at the boot (trunk) but didn't open it up to see a huge boot, capable of carrying 3 bodies plus luggage with ease.
Also important feature, special bonnet (hood) hinge for easy access during repair.
    I have a 1989 740 GL with 155 k (96,000 miles) on the vehicle.
For those 4 cyl engines, that is just getting broken in. 400k to 500k not unusual.
Speed and acceleration is just fine....then again my last car was a 71 VW so this Volvo packs a punch by comparison.
Slowly becoming a classic but not as popular as the 240 series.
At 35 years, you might check the radiator if still original... see possible cracks even if not leaking.
