You can purchase a 4 inch X 7.8 inch cake form at Hobby Lobby for about $3.50.
I get my other cake display items from Dollar Tree.
I display my cakes in a glass cake dome… looks so pretty especially when I make a bow for the cake stand and add fruit near or on the cake.
I am going to have to check out the cake form from hobby lobby. I use boxes sometimes but I do not think they hold up well for long time storage. The foam - I have been able to respackle and make a whole new cake from an old one.
I love that you display your cakes like that. Do you make them just for fun or do you have a bakery? I tend to have lots of people on my channel trying to make a fake cake for their real bakery.

Awesome, I always use the bday boxes as cake bases. Great share. Have you noticed a change in DAP Spackle?
I wish I would have used boxes sooner - it is so much more affordable. I haven't noticed but then again I purchased several gallon buckets ages ago. I would love to see some of the fake cakes you have made. 😍
@@Hey_its_Dre Ah okay I am still new to fake baking I would love to show you what I have made. I use spackle for mixed media mostly. I ran out and bought a new one a few weeks ago and I had to add cornstarch to thicken it.
