How do you attain salvation?

Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and keep his commandments.
“The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’There is no commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:29-31

@@_ready__ As a sinner no, but with Gods help I can. That’s why Jesus instituted the Sacrament of Confession.
Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you.” And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.” - John 20:21-23

@@catholicmartialartist so then why would you tell me that keeping commandments is how you receive eternal life if you can’t keep the commandments? It’s confusing. Have you read James 2:10? Thoughts?

@@_ready__ how is it confusing ? Jesus knows we aren’t perfect. This is why he established a church. Have you read the entire book of James ? He says faith without works is dead
