In US news and current events today, Washed Ashore makes animal sculptures out of trash from the beach that endangers them. Washed Ashore is a nonprofit that creates ‘Art to Save the Sea.’ Each of its animal sculptures are created entirely from the plastic pollution that threatens their existence. The nonprofit was founded in 2010 by Angela Haseltine Pozzi. She was partly inspired by her artistic upbringing and her desire to save the ocean in memory of her late husband, Craig Pozzi. Today, Washed Ashore has cleaned up 26 tons of garbage from the beaches along the coast of Oregon and turned it into more than 70 larger-than-life sculptures.

I have made a shark from iron wire and used papers for an exhibition, my purpose was to tell people not to hunt shark, especially shark fin, where the shark then left suffocating under water, now I see someone make shark sculpture from used plastic materials, I admire this so much.
It would be an amazing idea to take all the plastic and keep making more art to decorate everywhere. Not just one location but around the world. At least then that plastic can serve a long term purpose.
Wow, Angela Haseltine Pozzi, you are AMAZING✨Thank you for creating this art, it’s shocking how much plastic ‘Washes Ashore’🕊💐🌈
if they need financial help i will buy that shark !!
how much is your bid? They sold it for thousand dollars I suppose.

Deuteronomy 4:15-18
[15]Take ye therefore good heed unto yourselves; for ye saw no manner of similitude on the day that the LORD spake unto you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire:
[16]Lest ye corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female,
[17]The likeness of any beast that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged fowl that flieth in the air,
[18]The likeness of any thing that creepeth on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the waters beneath the earth:
Whats the difference between this and littering? Really??
You can’t work out the answer for yourself?
