Plastics are petroleum. Complete incineration reduces the material to their own original elements. ( oxygen, hydrogen, and carbon; plus gobs of energy!). The carbon goes back into the ground as new building blocks for plants. It’s self sustaining plus produces energy by the process which can power steam turbines for energy production!

You know how the uk suffers from the worst roads in the world potholes like sinkholes. I have worked on loads of major roadworks projects all over the uk. The reason we have potholes is because of the, in my opinion absolute crap build spec to which our roads are built. First wee strip the soil and roll it out then we roll out a membrane called terram then a plastic mesh called geogrid then stone sand and rolled whacked and then the tar. Now that would be suitable in a warm climate with little to no annual rain. But we live in blighty and whats happening is the amount of water under soil is washing/eroding the layers used in roads away creating cavities which under weight buckle inwards creating potholes that and the winter frost freezing and melting worsens it more. So the plastic problem can solve the road problems. Melt it down into huge thick slabs and lay them on the ground and tar straight onto them no worry of weeds growing through less materials used no erosion no potholes/sinkholes could lay these slabs for miles upon miles would be faster aswell.
