@@edussantoz9034 DSI XL on eBay goes for roughly $70-$100 from what ive seen and the 3DS XL goes for around $120-$150, I would just spend the extra bone to get way more capabilities

Only on DSi & DSi XL you can literally store thousand of GBA games on your SD card, where you can also store DS, DSi, GBC, NES, GB games and run them instantly, you can run DS games in DSi mode, using DSi's 16 MB ram and better CPU, so that the game never loses any frames, and have all those games (DS, DSi, GBC, NES, GB) on a better screen.
Preferring bigger screens doesn't mean you have bad eyesight. They don't even make any modern phones, let alone handhelds with a screen size comparable to the DS Lite/DSi, because most people just prefer bigger screens and their eyesight is fine.
in the video the DS lite and DSi (standard) appear to have better screen brightness than the DSi XL , is that just that the XL is set to a lower setting or what is the story there ?
Yeah great times… that was before the 3DS where they literally used TN screens on the 3DS XL and then mixed up TN / IPS displays on the New 3DS XL. You could get a TN only New 3DS XL, you could get a top IPS / TN bottom 3DS XL, you could get a top TN / IPS bottom New 3DS XL and if you were very lucky you could get an IPS only New 3DS XL.. why would Nintendo do that ? Couldn’t they just stick to IPS only 3DS / New 3DS XLs like they did with the DSi XL ?

Grew up with the Old NDS. Played on it until it basically disintegrated. It was definitely fun and very playable, but I will say, the NDS Lite would give a much better experience with the nicer screen and better battery life. Always liked how the screen looked. Old DS looks washed-out in comparison irl.
There are other uses for the GBA slot than just playing GBA games, though they're rather obscure. Pokemon transfer comes to mind, as well as peripherals that use the slot.
this is a dumb q but can anyone please let me know - can i play any games from a dsi xl on a ds lite?? im unsure on which to pick between the two but i like the ds lite bcs of the baby pink color option & wanna play games from a dsi xl on it 😭
@@kabeom Yes, all the Nintendo DS systems you see in the video from the Nintendo Lite to the Nintendo DSi XL can be played all Nintendo DS games as they all have the same cartridge input

DS Lite is the best GBA console. DSi is the best DS console for most people. DSi XL is the best DS for people with a bad sight (like me).
The gba advance SP 2 lights look much better I have that and Nintendo DS lite and I see the difference GBA wins
