Lots of people like the green tea but I personally don't like green tea that anybody that you reading this be careful with some of them green teas because they have a lot of sugar in them if they're already pre-made so they can't be that healthy for you. There's a variety of teas that are good for you that have no sugar in them at all.

    Here’s a copy/paste of a comment I left in a past video of yours.
    I adore you and I respect you, but you are so wrong about coffee blends. Single blends are single when that bean in particular stands out and is so special that blending it would be a crime. Blends happen because the roaster is trying to create a flavor profile and/or because the plantation cannot grow enough to supply for single origin. Hence why sometimes single origin coffee comes in a smaller bag. It’s the same with grapes. It’s why smaller wineries use combined grapes. They work their tails off combining and tasting in order to create their ideal flavor profile. This is why it’s an art-A true art. Also, in regards to organic, as someone who grew up in the Caribbean and whose family had a coffee plantation in Lares, Puerto Rico, I can tell you right now that to expect all coffee plantations between the tropics of Cancer and Capricorn (the only places where coffee can grow) to be organic is completely unrealistic. The higher the humidity, the higher the struggle for crops. Humidity breeds pests, thus the need to eradicate them. Coffee roasters aren’t trying to cheat you, I promise. They are simply trying to help you discover new roasts and flavor profiles. I’m not just anyone, I’m a classically trained cook with extensive training in wines and coffee. I come to you for new products to try, because life is too boring to always eat the same thing.

    • @GoodandDelicious
      @GoodandDelicious Před 3 lety +6

      Not to mention the fact that single origin can still come from multiple coffee plantations, but since they all come from the same country then they are deemed as single.

      @@MFV77 I find them at thrift stores quite often. If you decide to try it, be sure to get the kind with the "shark's fin" vents along the sides at the bottom - not the kind with the little round mesh screen at the very bottom, like Redenbacher's.

    Bobby excellent video. The one thing that I did not notice if you mentioned or not was about mycotoxins. I loved your comment about the VOCs in the K-Cup.
    But MODLY coffee is a real thing and the USA doesn’t test their coffees like they do in Europe. We buy any and all coffee.
    So for me, coffee makes me sick and releases toxins from mold in me. There are certain coffee companies that test for mycotoxins in their coffee that would be the ideal one to drink.
    Hope this helps someone!

      Hmmm...I wonder if that’s why I can’t drink coffee? I always thought I was sensitive to something in the coffee because I can’t drink it. I used to try from time to time, but my body rejects it almost instantly and it comes back up within 2 -3 minutes. Maybe it’s not the coffee per se?

      @@crabbypadty393 I’m sorry R Crabs, I don’t drink coffee all together.
      I would say the Bulletproof coffee is the one to buy because the creator of it suffers from the same genetic issues unable to detox from mycotoxins

    Best home made - roast beans again and grind, then boil the coffee in the water... smells and taste better..... don't need a coffee maker... just a good iron sauce pan....♥️♥️

    the k cups are good for just enough to cut open and pour into a thremos and add about 12 ounces of hot water, then shake, and drink when the grounds settle so you don't drink the grounds.

    Good info on coffee...I agree whole beans and single point origin is best! I store whole beans in a vacuum seal container and that its great! Question and feedback on Chicory from Cafe Du Monde or other providers?

    What if you vacuum seal the coffee beans once you open. Shouldn't that help with shelf life or not? Thanks for your great videos. You have given me courage by giving me knowledge in knowing what to look for. Had been so confusing before, to a degree, based on all of the marketing gimmicks.
