Don't get too drawn in by this, too many Wrong-Uns will mess up your Leg-Break (Googly syndrome). Make sure you nail your leg break before you move on to this and don't over do it with the wrong-un when you start practicing it. There's a very fine line that you have to not cross. Consider bowling the off-spinning flipper?

But how can googly effect your leg. Break
What do you mean don’t get “drawn in” by this? Rashid isn’t telling people to practice googly at the EXPENSE of the standard leg break. He’s showing people a variation that’s often used by leg spinners to get out a batter. Yes if you over practice the googly it COULD affect your stock delivery, but that’s rarely the case if you’re doing it correctly. Strange comment.
@@noboundaries2142 @Mark Wood yes it can. Bowling wrong un more than your stock delivery can recalibrate your muscle memory and your default action. Happened with me when I learnt the googly, was so happy that I bowled this continuously because I was getting the batsmen bowled frequently, as they were so much of feel good deliveries. But after a while my leg spin got affected and the ball would just go straight. So had to stop bowling googlies for a while and go back to basics. Now I love bowling my default leg break with an occasional delivery of googly, top spinner, flipper and even a slight carrom ball action in my leg spin. Variations and bowling the right length is the key to dominate the batsmen, even the aggresive ones. And don't worry if you go for runs, its part and parcel of the game.
Having played cricket as a batsman in school, college and later in my 30s as a part-time bowler, I find that controlling a googly to be much easier than controlling leg spin.

What is the difference between the googly and offspin.
There isn't much difference apart from the fact that the googly is a variation of leg spin while off spin is it's own kind of spin
In off spin finger is used while in googly wrist is used for spinning the ball.
I've been studying improving their cricket and found a fantastic resource at Mackynzie Cricket System (google it if you are interested)
