We regularly clean our house, service our cars and prune our gardens, but we have a culture of not regularly clearing out our mental and emotional rubbish/trauma that is no longer serving us, instead we bury it. I look forward to a world when it becomes ok to regularly nurture our inner selves and the tools to do this are common place.
This will help us reconnect to our true inner self and each other
I really appreciate you guys doing this and Macklemore being so frank. This helps.
This gentleman has a strong program & a powerful, clear message. I say that as a sober woman of 21 years. My journey began in AlAnon, dealing with the wreckage of my motherâs drinking; my fatherâs rageâŠ

bro, everybody always talks all this deep shit about alcohol and Iâm just over here wondering, does anybody feel like me? Iâm just addicted to it because I think itâs super fun. It feels really good and makes everything double the fun.?
Thatâs probably because you are still in the âgood partâ of the addiction. Once after you gone through this hell you reflect what caused all this
I feel the same way. I donât necessarily do it to escape anything. Itâs just something that makes things way more fun . But I know thatâs a slippery slope so I try to limit it
I liken it to a vacation. Some people travel to see a new place, while others just want to get away from home. They need a break. When drinking or substance use gets to the point where itâs being used to escape, then itâs a bandaid for a deeper issue/challenge.
He got my attention when he got attention for supporting palestine. Now im watching as many videos as i can about him. He is very likable.
