I’m so happy to hear that Avril is doing so well! It’s different getting a new dog when you already have one. You’re not able to solely give them that attention the way you’re able to when there’s not another dog around. It’s almost like you’re just now experiencing that for the first time. Avril’s able to thrive being the center of your universe and I love that for her! I guess you can call it a silver lining. Also glad to see that you’re feeling better! 🖤
Yes I agree. As Jackyl got older and sicker, all of my attention went to him so it's a blessing that I can now get to know Avril even more and our bond can grow even stronger. I love it and so does she. She's such a princess.

Congratulations on 5 years! However much or little you choose to share; it’s your life and your channel, we are still very happy for you. Don’t feel guilty for how you are feeling since Jackyl has passed, you and Avril have gone through sudden but immense life change, go easy on yourself. I get what you mean about wanting to give more love to another dog but waiting for the right time, but it’s also nice that you and Avril have gotten even closer and to hear she is doing well in herself.
It absolutely warms my heart that you want to adopt a special needs pup someday! That’s always what I’ve wanted too. I love all animals but I really want to foster/adopt seniors, bully breeds, and those with special needs. I’m actually going to be starting my own rescue dedicated to helping animals that other people pass over in shelters within the next handful of years when I have the right property for it 🐾💚❤️

I just put to sleep my cat last night 😢 I am absolutely devastated about it and idk how I will get through this. I know you’re still grieving and I am very sorry for your loss of jackyl. I know how you feel it’s heartbreaking. Any advice on how to be strong moving forward? I feel like my whole world has ended 😢 my cat was so young and had diabetes and his organs shut down after two years on insulin. This video is helping me thank you for taking the time to express your experience with grief 😊

So happy to hear how well Avril is doing! Happy Anniversary, I can relate to the age gap as my partner is 15 years older, he has kids already so I don’t feel pressured into having kids of my own. It’s been the best, most understanding relationship!

I am also looking to buy a house this year and it has been hell to say the least! Where I live we have A LOT of vacant homes but, they’re completely run down and in need of thousands of dollars in repairs. Personally if I’m spending over 70k for a home I don’t want to have to do any major repairs!

Oh wow I didn’t realize so much time has gone by since last time I watched your vlog 🤯 Condolences for Jackyl passing, I just found out in a vlog I watched before this (also that yt algorithm thing is crazy and I have so many subs I often forget who I am subbed to so it seeps through the cracks of time)
It’s very interesting how you now get to know Avril better and discover her personality as an individual as often times one’s personality can be shaded by their siblings (I feel that’s also human too cause sometimes we just mimic our closest people behavior or tendencies without realizing and often we not show our open selves around specific people so that alone we become someone else and I feel that’s in any sentient species)
Oh your German is good actually! Some pronunciation needs a bit work but otherwise quite good. I’ve learned German at school for a bit and made it pretty good when I was it (also I’m sort of near geographically to Germany and also genetically so I feel with my native ways it’s easier to get the proper pronunciation out unless I’m just someone good at mimicking language sounding lol)
I’ve learned tiny bit Spanish after I lost my job two years ago and it went so well I got surprised by how easy it felt so now that I’ve got a temp job I put down other languages and started Norwegian and it’s shocking how words and their pronunciation and meaning is similar to English and German and that helps even more as at work I get the texts quite easy and that helps in my language course (via Duolingo app) so all in all if I get the chance to extend my job stay I feel I might be capable to learn Norwegian on daily basis with proper teaching and pronunciation (I use the app on silent so most of time I have no idea how the words sound like and all I know is the way the letters sound so I make up a lot but proper learning would accelerate that)
Also Rammstein is one of my favorite bands (the other German band I love and adore is Oomph which is similar in style and actually turns out Rammstein got their idea from them and I love both leads vocals however few years back Oomph fell out with their lead and I’m kinda still on their older albums but I’m excited for their new chapter with new vocalist) and one of two favorite German bands. And since two years ago when I lost my first real job of nearly a decade Rammstein came out with new album and now the song Zeit is sort of my anthem for my old job as I had the song on for three months nonstop around the time and I had it on when I stood on the curb walking out of my work for the last time (and I’m greatly attached to emotions and music and basically my mood is my playlist and my support as I cannot exist long without music and I’m sentimental af about my emotions so I literally have this one Oomph song I can play and see clear picture of me sitting in my primary school cafe on a free class watching German music channel and seeing the music video and song for the first time and knowing in that moment exactly four years prior extra language choice imma be learning German so I can sing along properly and at least somewhat understand lyrics… I know I prolly sound super weird lol)
Oh I can imagine house hunting be tough af. I know apartment hunt can be horrid especially at times where it’s so expensive and landlords are crazy possessive and demanding.
Maybe do wait a year or something when maybe the market gets better as I’m watching another yt channel struggling with house hunting and they just wanted a rental which in my mind should be easier but in reality for specific needs and big family can be even harder.
And one is to get the house but then comes neverending construction and stuff. So I’d suggest not rushing too much if the market isn’t giving enough excitement bc in time there could be something really good out there.

Totally agree. I miss my two dogs. My yorkie he was 17 years old and I had him since I was 18 years old and he passed almost 1 year in May. I had put him down . Me and mom lost our heart

Im in the same boat as your and your bf when it comes to house hunting lol. Boyfriend wants a ton of land with a seperate work barn, i just want to have space between the houses (grew up in apartments my whole life too) oh and also like you said every house thats somewhat affordable is awful in MA as well. hopefully we will all find a house one day 😅
First off, hi! Child free lady here! I have gotten my tubes tied in October of 2017 since it’s my choice. I was depo provera, which is a birth control shot, for 3 years and it was awful all around. I couldn’t take being on birth control of any form. The doctors I went to asked if I was sure if I wanted this and I said yes and they said ok just sign this waiver. You still get your period so idk if that would help you in the long run. Just wanted to throw it out there!
Secondly, I love your true crime videos so far and you’re doing an amazing job at this!

My baby girl diva (chihuahua) past last august. She only had 3 legs. 1 was amputated when she was 6. She needed help with almost everything. And our band was so so so special and strong

Learning languages is hard for me too. My husband is Korean and so I’m learning that. Also, after I graduate in May, I’ll be getting 2 surgeries on my uterus. My cramps get so bad that I throw up or they bring me to my knees. I also get shots of pain when I’m not on it. So they are cauterizing to bleed less (periods have gone straight up to 2 months) and then one for endometriosis pain! I’m so ready for it. I also can’t have kids, but taking out my uterus would cause more complications than just doing these 2 surgeries! 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ being a girl is FUN! 😂😂😂

A lady that lived in my area her dog was in a wheelchair, she would take him for walks.
I'd see them from my balcony and i'd just be laughing my ass off at how fast he was moving, he was so fucking cute nothing was stopping that little man 🥰🥰.

Hey, so I also live in Michigan and I have a few cousins that are real estate agents and I talk to them about the market and they said the same thing but they said that the market most likely won’t be getting better until April or May of next year after the presidency

For the true crime, what about Michigan crimes? I feel like there are a few pretty good cases in Michigan that not a lot of people know about. I think once a month is the perfect amount. Gives you a video idea for the month and time to research and edit it. I LOVE your true crime videos!

I don’t know if you’re familiar with Old Friends but they only have senior and disabled dogs and you can become a “forever foster” and the organization pays for everything. They pay for their food, medications, vet visits, etc. I would loooove to foster a dog from them! I mean is there any reason not to? They provide everything, all you have to do is provide the love. But unfortunately they are in Tennessee and I’m not 😢
I wonder if they honor people from other states?! Because I would LOVE to do that!
