I am in Silicon Valley and have worked with Indian coworkers. On the face they are more successful and climb the ladder faster. But we are know it is due to their talk skills and only promote within small groups. Any group has to have one Chinese or white engineer to do the REAL work. If the elite Indian are like this, I can’t trust the rest of Indian labor force.

Real story. A company, XYZ (I won't name the company), used to be a multi racial company or MNC. One day, because of geopolitics or whatever, the CEO of the company (non-Indian) steps down and appointed an Indian to be the new CEO. The first thing that the Indian CEO did after that was to "restructure" the company by appointing a new HR manager of Indian ancestry. A few years later, all non-Indian employees were either mysteriously fired or told to leave and so on. The company became a 100% Indian company from then on. This is how they swallow up your company, please beware and aware of such practices. If you're wondering why this example is relevant, think of this example as an Indian corporate practice when managing a company. It is difficult to compare China and India, as they are at different stages of development. China not only provides better skilled and cheaper labor than European and American countries, but also has a complete upstream and downstream industrial chain, a developed logistics system and highly automated production lines, as well as large-scale production, which are the fundamental reasons why Chinese products are competitive. Everyone is saying that the Chinese economy is about to collapse and that they want to decouple from China, but in 2023, foreign investment in China will be 53,667 enterprises, with foreign investment of US$160 billion, still the second largest destination for foreign investment after the United States.

@sandponics czcams.com/video/7-WA64ecsgM/video.html The boom of China has been a literal miracle, and exactly mirrors the boom of Christianity during the same time.
In 1990 less than 1% of Chinese identified as Christian. In 1990 less than 1% of global economic activity came from China. In the three short decades since, China has become the largest Christian country in the world, and also the largest economy in the world.
Christians in China love their country with a depth and passion that is startling to foreign observers. During church gatherings they pray for their country and its leadership.
They believe deeply that they have a duty to share their prosperity with fellow Chinese, especially the poor and elderly. And they believe they are called to invest in the undeveloped countries of the world.

China's GDP per capita remaining lower than the US despite becoming larger in total GDP is a moot point. If a country has socialist approach then the distribution of resources is largely equitable.
Someone earning 10,000 dollars in China gets to live a far more comfortable life than someone earning 40,000 dollars in USA.
I think after reaching 25,000 dollars per capita GDP any additional increase is just for showing off and doesn't necessarily means citizens in a country with 40,000 or 60,000 per capita GDP are living twice better lifestyle than a country with 30,000 dollars per capita GDP.
And yes China also has private businesses in case someone comes up with propaganda.

Tons of people lined up to sign up jobs there. If you work 200 hours a month you can make approximately 8000 RMB, in equivalent to 1100 USD. I think what many people out there don’t quite understand when it comes to investing and setting up shop in any country outside of your own is that you don’t have a lot of control and the overseas sites have a lot of autonomy. They’re essentially like a franchisee or partner in some ways rather than direct subsidiary or contractor. It works roughly the same way in all countries. Many businesses choose to work in China because they have enough trust in the locals of the China site or partner to do what it takes to get the job done and possibly go beyond that for more benefits and growth.
For those constantly comparing this to India or elsewhere, if businesses aren’t investing the same way as in China, it’s probably because they don’t have the same level of faith that the locals of that country can do the same as the China sites.

China is, and always will be, a critically important economy. The nature of "business" is global. Corporations think globally, they are not nationalistic. The hard task ahead is 'negotiation' to achieve a mutually 'fair deal'. People who have been taken advantage of out of their own sheer ignorance, will scream "decouple". Unfortunately, that thinking is self-defeating.

Notice that the Indian sports delegation in the 2024 Paris Olympics scored not a single gold medal -- they are not good at doing things or achieving results. They are just good at talking -- before the games they were comparing themselves to the quiet Chinese athletes.

  • @BL-db6xt
    @BL-db6xt Před 15 dny

It's the Quality of the workforce is matter, not the quantity.
Yes, 2023 the India overtook China becoming the world most populoust country but its workforce is poorly educated in comparison.
A much smaller country like Vietnam dwarfted the Indian brainy performance in IMO, IPhO, IChO ... when it came to a number of Gold/Silver/Bronze Medalists. Not only in those International Brainy Olympium but the 15 y.o Indians consistently performed among the worst in the PISA.
The skillful Chinese workforce acquires higher pay ie, crude GDP/Capita, consequently its disposable income's greater. This is profoundly better when the Chinese GDP taking its RMB's PPP (Purchasing Power Parity) into account.
It's even more remarkable when major spendings elswhere (eg, the US, UK & EU) like education, medication, energy, logistics, crime & punishment/unpunishmet, insurance are astronomically high but unbelivably low in China.
These make China not only the world greatest supplier but also its market. Thus, investing in China is the 1st & only Commandment for the global investors if they want to survive & even be properous.

Last year China's GDP growth was 5.2%, the American media said the China economy was struggling.
When the US growth was 2.3%, American media described it as great.
When the UK growth was merely 0.x %, American media said it was promising.
How can you trust the Anglo Saxon media? They are just a bunch of crooks and liars.
