That’s a slight misconception with Toy Bonnie that I believed to be true for a while. Toy Bonnie always has a 1/2 chance every 0.5 seconds to initiate his blackout no matter what, even if there are other threats present. If he’s in a vent while there’s a blackout currently in progress, while wearing the mask he has a 1/3 chance to leave every 1 second

Well... kinda? but not really.
Toy Bonnie's programmed to use either method based off of a variable called "In Danger". Which is set to 1 if a blackout is occurring or 0 if there's no blackout.
Which means that if there's a blackout in progress then Toy Bonnie is completely incapable of starting a blackout because the condition will never be met (as "In Danger" won't = 0).
What this means is that any vent animatronic being present won't prevent Toy Bonnie's blackout but any in-office animatronic would due to the blackout condition.
So, while he said "no other animatronics are present", the more accurate thing to say is "no other animatronics are causing a blackout".
Which... tbf that's how I interpreted it anyway based on the way he was presenting it.
It's why Toy Bonnie is such an annoyance.
If you're fortunate enough to have him attempt his blackout, he'll leave somewhat quickly and even be stunned in Cam 03 for about 1s (that stun time is based on the Night # so I'm assuming Custom Night), but there's still a bit of RNG since it's 50% every half-second.
When you're unfortunate enough to have him be stopped by one or multiple blackouts that means you're forced to ride out the other animatronic's blackout and hope the 33.3% every second ends up sending him away. Though it doesn't stun him.
If it doesn't send him away that means you spent at least 5s in the mask for the first blackout, then you have to stay in the mask to continue to roll the RNG for Toy Bonnie's blackout for a random amount of time (Avg 1s), which that blackout will cost roughly another 5s, coming out to a bare minimum of 11 seconds spent on simply waiting for Toy Bonnie to leave.
Of which that entire time in the mask is a penalty against Foxy as well as losing out that time on the Music Box. Giving you a ~5s margin IF you had the music box fully wound by that point. From that point you then have to decide whether it's best to try and flash Foxy a bunch to prevent his progression or rush for the Music Box, either choice leaves you in a worse spot for the other, and then you have to hope that you can wind the music box up enough before another animatronic forces you out of the cam for a blackout.
Which, especially if queued, is not a lot of time.

From what I remember, there's unused Toy Chica images in the files that indicate she would've worked like Toy Bonnie, so just imagine 10/20 mode with both of them like that!

Theres a special fnaf 2 custom night on game jolt, nothings really changed, but they added that back in. (along with 4 characters but thats irrelevant)
@@ducklett01godno, in the files of FNAF 2, there is an unused image that is called ‘Toy Chica in office’ and it’s her standing close to the screen and staring at it.
@@Blarky73They actually used those in the mobile version but Toy Bonnie and Chica are WAY easier to deal with them since their attacks have priority over the others which means they always go first regardless and they also are WAY faster lasting about 3 seconds so Golden Freddy mode in mobile is this regard is easier but the animatronics in general are way more aggressive in mobile so its hard to say if it is easier or harder.
Fnaf 2 is essentially the animatronics thinking youre the security guard but not being super sure yet

For anyone struggling for 10/20, there is an even more optimal strategy which is slightly cheating which takes advantage of a glitch. The strategy is called minus 3 which will completely disable withered freddy, withered bonnie and withered chica.
You do the strat by selecting the music box camera, then switching the parts and services room (the one with the 3 withered animatronics in there) and immediately after switching to the room you flip the moniter down. When you flip it back up and you did it successfully, you should be looking both cameras at the same time whilst still being able to wind the music box.
Now whenever you wind the music box you will be stunning the 3 withered animatronics by looking at them, so they cant move. Note this will not disable foxy. To do the glitch you be very quick with switching to the parts and services room and flipping the monitor down. You have to get the glitch going before 5 seconds has past from the night starting or the animatronics will move before there disabled.
Because there will be much less blackouts, this means foxy is much more likely to kill you and sometimes you will die to him from unavoidable bad RNG. You can kindof get around this by not putting the mask on to clear vent animatronics in X:X6 or X:X1 time intervals and waiting a second while flashing foxy to try and get around bad Alt D value rng (some foxy AI stuff). Note i could be wrong about the X:X6 and X:X1 interval waiting because idk if i misunderstood the AI
Getting the glitch to work consistently can be difficult, especially because you only have 5 seconds to get it working. Try going to night 1 and practice it there, or like me make some very simle code (i used python) that will move the mouses coordinates to drop the monitor when you click a specific button. Using the code i got the glitch to work before 5 seconds 1/2 times, and if i failed i just restarted the game
That's the strategy, the only downside is foxy is way more agressive

It will depend vary from device to device because the screen size will be different, and the module will go off pixels on the screen, so you may have to figure out those mouse coordinates ( you can actually do this with the same module by doing pyautogui.position() ). The code was:

Basically what it will do is whenever you press the letter g on your keyboard it will move the mouse to flip the camera down, so I would try and click camera and then as fast as I could g to move it down
You probably can't copy and paste because the nested code lines are probably wrong so you might have to adjust that but it should work fine!
That's impossible with Console isn't it, no way to move from music box to parts and service so fast.

Honestly I remember night 6 in fnaf 3 being way harder and I developed quite the hatred for Springtrap
Finally an easy-to-understand fnaf 2 guide! You are the first person I know of who’s actually shown what the 0.76 second extra mask time looks like in game. I’ve been trying to beat this mode for years, and this is the best video on CZcams I’ve found!
It's videos like this that really make me question how fnaf got to be as huge as it is. The game truly is a frustrating exercise in pattern recognition, repeated sequences of button pressing, and sheer praying for good luck that there's really no time to be scared or feel the atmosphere. You did a good job of showing how it all works.
Because these challenge modes are completely optional and are meant to be as excruciatingly difficult as possible while still being technically beatable. The normal nights are no where near as bad.
@@bonguyAlso I feel like a lot of huge FNAF fans do not actually play the games themselves, and rather experience the franchise through watching let's play videos. FNAF is one of those series that is really effective in video format.
That actually is *exactly* why it got to be as huge as it is. While this gameplay is terrible for challenge players, for a casual player, the randomness and uncertainty is what makes the standard gameplay work. FNaF is often cited to work on "nightmare logic", and the randomness helps that by making you feel like you're not in control, like the out-of-body experience of a bad nightmare.
The randomness also helps spur the rumor mill, as it's very, very, very easy for players to come up with all sorts of explanations for random behavior. The game wants you to grasp at straws, trying desperately to find some scrap of information you can rely upon, even when said information is false.
Because no one played fnaf, everyone watched letsplays.
I found out while attempting the right vent camp strategy that you don't actually need to stay on that tight cycle of cam on 1.5 - 5.5. If your office is empty when you drop the camera, you just flash foxy, check both vents and if they're both empty you can enter a secondary cycle where you use 5.5 - 8.5 instead. Then you pretty much just switch between both cycles everytime the office is empty
i remember beating 10/20 for the first time. it solidified me as the best fnaf player in my school.
granted it was the old mobile build so toy bonnie worked exactly the same as toy chica. but it was still an uphill battle and using the old strategie.

Should've been called "foxy" He's fucked up SO many of my runs. Here's one, 5AM probably 20 seconds left of the night, everyone was coming in my office, ONE AFTER ONE AFTER ONE. Couldn't even flash the hall. Music box nearly ran out, but I clutched up, AND... Guess who got me?
Toy Chica was supposed to have this vent+blackout ability as well. There's even a sprite of her in the office in the game files. I wonder how the 10/20 mode would be if TC still had that ability like TB.

Have you ever tried the "minus 3" strat?
So basically Withered Bonnie, Freddy, and Chica are all locked in place if you're watching the parts and service camera. But the problem here is the camera panel is only used for the music box.
There's this trick where if you time it just right, you can watch two cameras at once. And have one of those cameras be the prize corner.
If you pull this off, you've basically removed 30% of the problems in 10/20 mode.
Youll need to be quick, and you'll still have to deal with Toy Bonnie, but it makes everything else a lot more tolerable
I debated including it in this video, there's another comment that explains exactly how to do it, but I thought it was a bit too much of a glitch to include in this guide

Oh 3 is MUCH easier! When playing it, I realised something, tried it and beat Nightmare Aggressive in one try (after many other failed attempts haha)

I remember when I was into FNAF I could never beat 10/20 solely because of Toy Bonnie. In fact I still see my comment on OhLookIt'sFNAF's video about it. It's nice to see my annoyance being acknowledged. In fact it seems over the years the consensus has changed that he's the big problem in 10/20.
Hopefully this new outlook on the mode can finally help me beat it after 8 years.

Right after I finished the FNAF 1 challenge, I started doing this one, but it's such a RNG Hell that I gave up and went to do 3 first. It took me 4 months of repeatedly going back to it a few hours a week. I admit I had a bad flashing hall + vents strategy, I corrected it a few days before finishing.
It was my first time reaching 5AM and I was sick too, so finishing it made me feel so good.
Because of this challenge and only because of it, I have Toy Bonnie and Toy Chica as my most hated FNAF characters, Toy Bonnie at the top. I HATE THEM, SO MUCH! They ruined so many god runs it's unbelievable how much 1 bit of RNG changed everything.
Compared to the Triple-Challenge of 4 (and Nightmare that supers cheats), this isn't so bad, but compared to everything else, this is the hardest challenge in the first 6 games (except Golden V.Hard in SL).
How in God's name do you have only 230 subs, this is amazing.

ive been using this to beat night 6, havent won yet but getting closer every time!!
Im currently trying to beat fnaf 2, ive always loved the game out of the series. I was 10 when the game came out and Ive been with it ever since. I have played this game on and off, consistently each time, and i have NEVER been able to beat golden freddy mode. I can only think of two times where i beat Fazbear Fever. The first time was in 5th grade, and the second was just a couple days ago. Ive sunken probably 13 hours into Golden Freddy mode, ALONE. Ive encountered run ending glitches, completely unfair RNG, and deaths that definitely didn’t make sense. Died at 5 am, one run. I don’t know how close i was exactly to 6am, the timer read 7:10 but that time wouldve been impossible. I know i was so close and it makes me even more determined to beat this game. That sigh of relief at the end of 10/20 mode was felt for you, you deserve that victory!
after beating the first six nights, i decided to freshen up on my skills with the other custom night presets and attempt to tackle 10/20. after watching the super long djsterf video, it took me 30 minutes and 7 attempts lmao

When you are talking about how the numbers are randomly generated then you can call it a random number generator, but when you're talking about the numbers it generates then you're talking about random number generation, SO MANY ytbers will literally say "this is based on RNG aka random number generator" oh so you're saying that this random behavior is determined by generator. which i guess isn't that wrong but sometimes it's a noun and sometimes it's a verb, in most cases you're going to refer to RNG as a verb, it generates something, in this case random behavior. People misusing the phrase is a huge pet peeve of mine it makes me explode

as somebody who beat 10/20 in mid October I'm just going to say that this mode would be easy if not for toy bonnie. you might get hit with bad rng and fail to wind up music box or flash foxy sure but i don't think that will happen often.
the left vent animatronics are irrelevant because they will always leave during mask animations. the normal office animatronics aren't too bad, mangle is fine because of audio ques. and even the puppet and foxy are very manageable until toy bonnie shows up. he ruins everything. you have to break the pattern every time he shows up which is usually a death sentence in these games. then you need to hit the toy bonnie casino to see if he feels like acting in a way that's convenient to you.
either hoping that he gets his animation over with when you put on your masks, or hoping he doesn't kill you as soon as you go for the risky box wind

i literally cannot beat this if i get toy bonnie more than once. im consistently making it to 2am with this strat, but once i get toy bonnie once, the music box is basically always under half filled. its almost impossible to get it back up due to the conditions of this strat. so once i get her again, im outta time.
