I took a road trip out there a few years back - take a quick trip up to point Dume - about 20 mins north of Santa Monica - lovely walk around the headland and down to Zuma Beach 👌

I thought the main reason for coming to LA is to take a beautiful greyhound bus adventure from LA to San Francisco with very quiet American passengers that are not bothering you and are respectful of fellow passengers and avoiding smoking pot on the bus. Sorry that was just a dream 😂😂😂😂
Hey Anna! Welcome to the USA comrade! LOL 🙂 That beach looks huge!! Our beaches here in Michigan aren't nearly as huge, and they are mostly enjoyable in the summer. Yes, you only live once, so be happy!

As a fellow Angelino, welcome to California. Weather is amazing, a lot of great scenery and great food. One recommendation is Hainan Chicken from Savoy in Alhambra and of course the famous In n Out burgers

@@AnnaGoldmanTravel I had not thought of a holiday travel but it would be awesome to see what that is like. I do hear Christmas markets across Europe are great to visit.
If you like the beach houses in Santa Monica, you might also want to check out Balboa Island in Newport Beach, and San Diego. You can travel to San Diego by train and the train travels along the beach, it's beautiful.
I would suggest looking outside of LA. Irvine is really nice. San Diego has the best weather. Northern parts of California is nice away from San Francisco. LA has too many crazy and woke people. There is a lot of crime and homeless also.
