Personally I would push through with the thumbs so that you get the follow through and the accuracy.

Hi Jacob. Nice video thanks. We agree. Hand position is key. We wanted to add foot position, stable stance, core activation, arm follow through and elbow tuck are as vital as the hand position. Your hand follow through is really key a the end of the pass as the motion if not controlled can affect the trajectory. I like what you said about the fingers, many players do not maintain focus on them, often only thinking about the hands. Cool channel. Thank you.

my first ever game, the ref was sort of a coach in that situation as it was an u16 game, that man told me to "put your back in it". Took that to heart and my next few games my throws were terrible

dylan letford don’t actually need to keep elbows close it’s personal preference I personally can’t throw with elbows close

I used to be in the same predicament as you mate, what u did was I use to have a medicine ball then lay on my back and then throw it up, doing that in sets then standing up and doing the throw which improved my throwing in a week or two

If you add the lineout throw into the gane of play as a way to pass forwords and take away the lineout and only use kicks as a extra point, field goal, or clearing the ball like a punt in football. Then it becomes more like football but is still rugby. This will bring more viewers to the sport Also start using more different styles of setups in scrums for both offensive and defensive scrums with then allows for more options on both sides of the ball as you start to invent more and more plays like 8n football. After a try when kicking off use a tee like football its much more interesting and the same goes with when doing any goal kicks set up a srum like setting to have someone hold the ball for the kicker thats kicking. Trust me this will work. Id also start having the rule of all players must have a rugby helmet with added chin guard that covers the chin and added face mask like on a baseball helmet or cricket helmet but in rugby style, rugby shouler pads, rugby gurttle under the pants with pads, withe a long sleave light yoga shirt to the rist under the shouler pads and jersey and long legged yoga like pants to the knees under the shorts and gurtle and rugby knee pads. A rugby mouth piece and rugby shoe spikes. Make playbooks for both offense and defense. Use high tech rugby practice equipment for practices. Make another new rule in which after every tackle a new scrum setup must happen. Create a rugby version of first downs and if the offense has to clear or punt the ball then all new players will come out for defense after the end of the special teams play, clearing, or punt off. Same will go for goal kicks and kick offs. Now it sounds like football yes but however you will still keep in as rugby style and rugby play so its jist a nrwer form of rugby. Also players should be allowed to have any number they choice so long as its the set of number allowed to be used in that prsiton like in football. Thos allows for players to stand out with a number not the same as a great player before them. Now the six trys id keep but make it six trys to get from the 22 to to 10 and then the 10 to the 10 and the 10 to the 22 line. Or from the 22 to the half and the half to the 22. By making these first downs and aloowing each team to reset for another six trys makes the fans sit at the edge of there seats to see if the team they cheer for will make it to be able to reset for another six trys. Like football id allow for there to be a two point converson by in rugby id make it a three pointer as a try is 5 points one less then a football touchdown of 6 points. Is may all goal kicks two points just one more then a football 1 point kick unless its an extra kick after the try scored then id make that a one pointer like football and if the offense is tackled in its own tryzone with the ball in hand then like football id give the defense point which id make it 4 points plus your team gets the ball kicked off to them. The points wilk equal out to the football system but will be different and will make rugby on par with bootball and yet ewill still be its own thing as it would for the most part still fallow the rugby rules and style of play. Id tack rugby drills and combines to a whole new level of challenge. Also id add a rugby all star game and in college rugby senior bowl. This could be the USA style of rugby in which then we could test it by making it lije a womens football with starting out having all women teams on the pro and college levels. This then becomes like baseball compared to soft ball and like the NFL compared to the CFL.

so basically make it like football no we dont want to stop after every tackle no we dont want to wear ridiculous pads and pausing after every play takes the intensity from the sport. if we wanted to do what u listed we would play football
