    I've been using the G935 for about a year now, and while I really like it, I'm already experiencing a couple of minor issues. Turning my head or adjusting the headset will cause the plastic on the left side to creak audibly enough through the headset that people on voice chat can hear when it happens. Also, the right ear cup will completely cut out unless I fiddle with the power switch and get it in exactly the right position to restore power to both sides. Would you say the Pro X has better durability and build quality than the G935? Any creaking plastic or power switch issues that one needs to be aware of? I may end up buying the Pro X if these problems get worse down the road. I can live without RGB that I can't even see because I don't have eyeballs coming out of the sides of my head.

    • @PCCrazyDario
      @PCCrazyDario  Před 2 lety +1

      The things that you wrote, I only experienced on G933 (except the one headphone being cut off) which is still strange and you should RMA it just for that. Apart from that, I would suggest G Pro X indeed because they don't have that much plastic as the G935 have. The headband is steel and they are more flexible so you won't be hearing those cracking plastic noise... Not you or your team mates. And as for the RGB... Haha I totally agree with you. ;)

    I have had 2 G935s and on both of them the left ear start to short out and I have to either tap the side or wiggle the power button for it to get back to full sound. When the sound starts to short out it sounds almost like what I am listening too is muffled and in an auditorium with a weird hollow type sound. I really want to try the G733 but for 149 that seems a bit steep. However I am very specific with my headsets and I need one with a programmable G key that I can map to a Push to Talk. I only need 1 button because I use it for when I go in to the kitchen to cook dinner and I still wanna talk to friends in discord. If the 533 has a programmable G key I may look in to it since the mic does not sound bad at all. However Logitech has some of the worse sounding mics out of most of the headset companies out there and that is surprising since they own Blue now.

    Amazing review, I'm glad I found it. I really value having a proper wireless hub, because Bluetooth headsets have terrible voice, so I was pleasantly surprised by the results you've shown, specially g935 out of the box.

    PC Crazy As an owner of G933 how would you compare the sound guality with G PRO X?

    • @PCCrazyDario
      @PCCrazyDario  Před rokem

      Bass quality is great, it just isn't that deep as on G933 and G935. But build quality on G Pro X is much better than on those two. So I personally would take that into consideration as well, because plastic cranking noises would kill my enjoyment for music.

  • @kato2048
    @kato2048 Před 3 lety +8

    I'm having trouble choosing between the g935 and the g pro x wireless. I play a mix of esports and immersive games with amazing soundtracks so I am looking for the best audio. Mic audio is not a dealbreaker for me as long as it is clear. I personally am leaning towards the g935 for the swivel on the cups as I have found a better seal with swivel cups and because of the flip up microphone. I also rather the aesthetics of the g935 over the pro x being more quintessential logitech. I'm looking for it to last a good few years before replacing. I do have a big head so the size of the g935 doesn't bother me.
    The g935 is $60 more though here in Australia vs the pro x.
    I plan to use these for casual gaming and the occasional movie. I'd like to know everyone's personal choice and why.
    Maybe I should go middle of the road with the g733?

    • @PCCrazyDario
      @PCCrazyDario  Před 3 lety +5

      After using G935 for couple of years and even though they were perfect, I would go with G Pro X just because they don't have that squicky noise of plastic after more than a year. Better build quality and believe me, that plastic sound can get on your nerves. As for the size, I also have a big head and both fit me well. Maybe try to test out G Pro X and how will it fit you in a local store if that is possible. The only thing I like on G935 more than on G Pro X is the microphone because it can be hidden nicely, but if you decide to watch movies or work, you can remove the mic from G Pro X.

    • @hectorengrande3175
      @hectorengrande3175 Před 2 lety +6

      To add to this comment, with my almost 3 years of experience with the G935 I can say that the microphone after a while starts to fail because of so much up and down when turning it on and off. The microphone casing has also worn out to the point of separating between the joints underneath the microphone causing the microphone to come out of its place and I am personally afraid that the wires will be pulled out. With almost 3 years of use, they feel heavy and uncomfortable, the ear covers are also very worn to the point of breaking and deforming a lot. The coating of the same keep a lot of grease from the head and is a bit complicated to clean, plus noises in the plastic and deformation in the cushion that is placed on the head, I sincerely recommend you opt for the G733 or the G pro X, the latter are widely used in the competitive scene lately. I hope to be of help with my experience.

    after eight months of use. once I went to charge them the battery could not be charged to the maximum but it was 80% and it could not be charged more than that, I thought ok, it doesn't matter, BUT, after this they just didn't work anymore, and the only thing I could do to turn it on, if they were connected to a charging cable. I don't play a lot of FPSs online, and am more for immersive type of titles (RPG, Adventure, Action), but when I do hop on said FPSs, I'd like to not be penalized. The thing that really concerns me is that if I enable surround from the Logitech G-Hub software, it gets actually worse (you can't tell well where the sound comes from) when I test the DTS:Headphone X. The latter works great only if I disable the Surround (can pinpoint with great accuracy the origin of the sound) on the Logitech G-Hub, but the sound isn't as rich.

      G933 has noise-cancellation microphone, lower impedance, higher microphone frequency, but I would scratch all of that for G935 and larger drivers and no squeaking noises of the plastic after a year of usage.
