- This is a brief video on how to set up a pair of powered speakers suitable for party goers with an iPod, computer, iPhone or any other music playing device.
This also includes how to utilise the speakers in-built 2 channel mixer to put an iPhone and a microphone into the same speaker.

This video has a super high pitch whine. Please run the audio track through a high cut filter and then update. Overall, good video.
Thanks for the advice. Audio is coming straight off the camera for this recording. I am looking at updating video in the near future with a better quality picture and audio

can I plug an passive monitor into an active speaker?

Unless your active speaker has the ability to power a passive monitor than no. Best thing to do it run a separate line for the passive monitor!

How many speakers can you link together. You linked two. Could you then link another off speaker number 2 in the same way to speaker 3 then again the same way from speaker 3 to speaker 4 ? 4 speaker running off 1 main speaker?
in theory as many as you like - i run four powered bins link quite often

Does your radio have an AUX out? As long as you have cables to take your OUTPUT into your mixer or speakers input you will be A OK.

Mate, what wireless device are you wishing to setup?? I would set it up exactly as per video. If you have a new iPhone which doesn't have a headphone jack, get yourself a Logitech Bluetooth audio receiver and plug the receiver into the back of the speaker as per this video.

Ramon(a) Verona Yes that is correct. Most of the time you don't require a stereo system unless you have a DJ. If you are just having background music of an iPod this is perfect solution for you. Simple and easy to setup.
why do u have the speakers so low
This is only for demonstration for the video, and also allows me to reach the inputs. This video is to demonstrate a quick and easy setup to plug your phone or iPod into a speaker for a party.
