    Nice video with great scenes:)
    But a shame that nothing is recovered from this ship, except the propellers.
    The radiation should not be so high anymore.

      Quite a bit of material was removed from the ship and the two guns from its rear most turret still exist next to the only us navy 18 inch gun.

      The bunker oil was drawn off by the USN to avoid an environmental disaster.

      After they nuked him twice a crack in his hull formed and because he was so radioactive they didn’t repair it so they towed him from bikini atoll to Kwajalein atoll where he lies today. They did try to beach him but he capsized before they could. Also if you’re wondering why I’m calling this ship a he the Germans didn’t refer to their ships as women.
