Underwater video of the wreck of the German heavy cruiser Prinz Eugen at Kwajalein Atoll, which capsized in December 1946 after the 1946 US tests. 2011 footage.
Nice video with great scenes:) But a shame that nothing is recovered from this ship, except the propellers. The radiation should not be so high anymore.
After they nuked him twice a crack in his hull formed and because he was so radioactive they didn’t repair it so they towed him from bikini atoll to Kwajalein atoll where he lies today. They did try to beach him but he capsized before they could. Also if you’re wondering why I’m calling this ship a he the Germans didn’t refer to their ships as women.
Remembered me to my voyage in 1999 to Kwajalein and Bikini.
Nice video with great scenes:)

Quite a bit of material was removed from the ship and the two guns from its rear most turret still exist next to the only us navy 18 inch gun.
The bunker oil was drawn off by the USN to avoid an environmental disaster.
El barco está boca abajo ?
Mmm be interested to see why she sank and in shallow waters too

Hi, question: 8:35 , is she still holding Air? Or from where do the bubbles come from? Other Divers?
Yes, from other divers.
