I watch a few different grooming channels, and most of them show more severe cases. No, it's not the only thing they do, but it's the ones that get more views. I appreciate the hell out of all you do to help these poor dogs to help them feel better.
Of course. On CZcams, we are all hunting for views and it's totally OK to give people that what they want to watch. And exectly the neglected dogs are interesting to see in these transformation videos. 🙂 we are doing the same thing, even if we are grooming salon for all kinds of dogs. On our chanel you can see that we have tried to make videos with "normal" and "no-neglected" dogs, but people just don't want to watch that... or we just don't know how to make interesting video with those kinds of dogs. 🙂
I've been watching your channel for a while now. What you and your husband do is beautiful and amazing. Please don't entertain these "critics" and their vile comme.nts. Unfortunately, hurt people try and hurt people. We as a community need to continue showing love to these beautiful animals. Let these "comments" be just that. I’m a dog groomer myself in the UK and I can definitely say we see dogs like this constantly and this sort of work is much harder than dogs that are groomed on a regular basis! You guys do a fabulous job, keep up the hard work that you do, the dogs really appreciate it and they appreciate you guys! I love your videos and will continue to support you! I too am a dog groomer in the UK. I don't see many dogs that come to me in this state. I think we have a smaller problem here. I do think that the problem has got worse since the poodle cross, designed breeds became popular. It doesn't take long for them to get felted or matter coats. I don't think a lot of owners realise the high maintenance of them.
@@racheluk1759 it's because these mutts are being bred wrong. The dogs being bred have different types of fur that don't belong on one dog. Ridiculous!

Fake grooms - unbelievable! What an absurd idea! Your golden heart and your love for the dogs are fully expressed in your hands, in every touch. This is what I see and feel as a pianist. This is how I would like to touch a dog or a cat if I could have one, which is not possible right now. 💖
I've never heard of "fake grooming", but there ARE channels who put animals lives at risk, purposefully hurt the animal or even kill them in order to make fake "rescue" videos. There's plenty of evidence out there.

I watch other groomers in your country and follow several dog rescue shelters there and elsewhere and am always sad to see how many dogs are abandoned and neglected. It happens worldwide and there is definitely no need for any groomer to 'fake' grooms. Only an idiot would believe that. Keep doing your wonderful work and ignore those stupid comments.

This is such a cute dog! He was definitely overgrown however, he looks very healthy and I didn’t see much matting just a lot of overgrown hair. I guess that’s better than people never coming back. Which I’m sure you have had happen a lot.
It’s not the best case scenario, but if all that’s wrong with him is too much hair and dirty, it’s a win compared to others.

I’m from the UK, I watch other groomers on utube because I love dogs. I lost my beautiful German Shepherd last December and still grieving, by watching your channel takes my mind from the grieving for a short while. I still keep her leash in my bag when I go shopping. So thank you for the video I love the transformation ❤❤

No way honey...in NO way are you too harsh. I learned some grooming on cocker spaniels years ago, very hard work, very time consuming, very difficult. I wish I could have learned to do it as well as you do. Very impressive. I watch you and I am amazed by how much hard work, time, and care you put into EVERY dog. You are the best groomer I have ever seen. I wish I could learn to groom like you do. If I was a dog in need I would hope for you to be my groomer ❤.

You guys have a kind heart. It was so sweet to see you guys purchase gifts for that one dog and offer a couple of free follow up grooming. It’s such a good alternative to giving clients money. If anything I was worried with the cash option that clients would be incentivized since they already clearly don’t care. Offering services and food in a way forces them to correct their neglectful behavior.

I love watching how you stroke with the clippers. It is so purposeful and yet calming. I have not seen another groomer with such a wonderful technique. Thank you for all you do! I, myself don’t have a dog because the breed I like would require continuous haircuts, and I could not afford it. Many people are lonely and dogs and cats make great unjudgmental companions. They don’t always get the care and love that they need, but people like you help them out, I agree that if; you have nothing nice to say that you should say nothing at all.

I will be 73 in a few days and will say this...I used to be a professional groomer years ago and nothing has changed as far as the condition of some dogs that you have to groom. I have heard every lame excuse for why the dog/cat was in the terrible condition it was in, and some of the people who brought these pets in were very well to do folks. It is worldwide problem; some owners take good care of their pets, and some don't. Thank you for sharing.
True! Unfortunately it's even worse now with these doodle mixes. These 'breeders' aren't considering the fur of the dogs they mix.

Oh my gosh, that comment was so funny! How can somebody believe something so stupid?? My suggestion to them would be to go and spend a day with a groomer, or at a rescue! You do a wonderful job, and a very noble thing, by taking these neglected dogs and giving them something wonderful! I just saw your channel and the title caught my eyes. I love grooming videos and animal rescues. BUT! There ARE channels that uses those poor animals for fake videos. I seen some myself and was pissed off. I reported them to CZcams for animal cruelty. If someone is an experienced viewer (and not a mean grouch) can tell right away if a video in that subject is real or faked. Same with restoration videos. Lots of mixing and editing, fake weathering, "Look what I just found in the mud." videos.
So, some people are just jerks and a bully, and some have been bamboozled by other fake videos in the past and got bitter about it. Loved the way you worked on this dog! This is the first video I saw from you, but I can tell you are the real deal.🐩
I guess the commenter has no idea how many dogs and other animals are neglected. Not always with food, but daily care. You are an angel in helping relieve their pain and suffering.

I have seen that happen to other creators who do things like yard make overs for free or hoarded house cleaners. It blows my mind that those creators do jobs that nobody else would do, let alone do it for free. It seems to me that the kindest and most generous people get attacked by nasty trolls who deliberately set out to undermine the great work those people do. It’s a sad reality I learned though my 64 years of life.😢😢 It hurts at the moment, but you need to just learn to not let yourself become them.
