This lady pomeranian was so neglected, and in bad condition, that the whole treatment lasted for hours. After that, she was like a totally different dog! She is blind one eye and she can't be pregnant, but she can be a pet and a friend, so that's what we have done.
We rescued the dog and I really can tell you that she wasn't like the other dogs.

What a traumatic experience for this sweet little one. I had a little Maltese and I knew that she would act the same way if she was in the same circumstances but we always kept her groomed. What patience you have for doing a job that took so long. She looks gorgeous! I hope she can be a little princess and be spoiled for the rest of her life. It is just sickening to have these precious little dogs be used in awful breeding situations.
I can see that this dog finally feels so relieved because her fur is no longer matted and her skin is clean.
She is such a little beauty! You are so gentle and patient with her. I am sure that your friend is really going to love her. What a gem.💎

Girl with Dogs uses a "happy hoodie" when blow drying which appears to work well on most pups, excepting those neurotic or psychotic kids. (Said with love!)

I appreciate you taking the time to dematt rather than shaving since it was a manageable amount of matting, its much healthier for their skin than just shaving all of it off(from being double coated).. i had poms when i was little, theyre such sweet little things

a pomeranian...oh gosh! I have 3 Pomeranian females. I accept it here in Brazil! my first was a female, but she was well cared for and when we bought it, she was spayed. My heart hurts just imagining the suffering of this young lady....

Awesome job and you are so patient and kind in the way you handle all of the doggies you groom. I do have a question… would you not be able to trim around and get rid of some of the tear stains just under her eyes? I’ve had several white dogs over the years and this has always driven me crazy lol

Can I ask why you didn't shave her coat off because of the matting instead of brushing and cutting (I used a mat splitter regularly on my long haired GSDs who were big scardey cats!!!!)
I was a groomer for years. I would have shaved her. Although, she is a double coated dog. EVERYTIME she is shaved her hair doesn't always fair well. It comes back coarse and uneven. Its up to the groomer based on how he/she thinks is better for the dog. This groomer is very skilled and was working with a good dog.🥰

It's NOT about MONEY. This dog has feelings and a heart just like us humans. I would adopt her if I could. She nice. I WOULD trim her coat a little and put medication on her eyes IF NEEDED. OUR LORD HAS COMPASSION AND SO CAN US.

There's too many irresponsible breeders out there and it shouldn't be aloud.Theres absolutely hundreds of dogs that need a home so I think breeding should be banned especially the careless breeders that don't give a shit about the poor dogs health anyway.I hope she is loved and cared for and lives a happy life now where she can settle down and have lots of love and a warm cosy bed .Shes adorable and looked like she was smiling at the end while being stroked bless her.Great job as always ❤❤😊

Dematting is painful, in all honesy I'd have shaved her down, and yeah I know about not shaving double coated dogs. But shes a pet. And been badly neglected previous to her now owner. Comfort for the pooch is first in my personal book. Regardless, thanks for giving her a new start.

We need to control all this breeding of dogs. It’s not just puppy mills and backyard breeders. Competitive show dog breeders should be regulated as well. I ran into a Keeshond breeder inCalifornia who confessed she gave dogs that would not meet her show standards to shelters (as if shelters were not already overcrowded). And by the time she didn’t like these dogs they were no longer puppies but she had kept them to see how they would turn out. Dog breeding should be neither a business nor a sport.

Dog Breeders and those Puppy Mills need to put out of business. The animals are just a means of money to them. They need to have to pay for all the life expenses of their works. Too many unwanted animals suffer and die that are the consequences of this.
These dogs all need a very close shave all over including the face and ears ..so they can have a fresh start with who ever takes them

Dematting is very painful for the dog. I think she should have shaved her down this time instead. And it is not necessary to have the water pressure and dryer on full blast either.
